Cut a bunch of crap programs first, publicize the hell out of how much was being wasted - then even doubters will either be convinced or at worst will have no bleeding heart examples to whine about. Flood Congress with “thank yous” and positive reinforcement. Then keep going and repeat the cuts again and again. Even liberal people (outside of government) can be educated.
He is a master at negotiations. He is several steps ahead of the GOP establishment types and their brethren in crime, the democRATS. They think the budget is "dead on arrival". It's not dead. It just hasn't come to life yet.
Trump knows that and will get most of what he wants with the skills he laid out in The Art of the Deal, leaving his opponents wondering how he did that.
Bureaucrats are scared to death over this budget. Instead of setting around all day and looking at porn they’ll have to work because they will no longer be grossly over staffed.
Trump did what I was hoping he was doing (during the election ) ...Run to the left...(after election)...Govern to the right. It’s how RINOS and Dems have won for years.
There isn’t one person that would think that these money hungry parasites would be looking out for the American people.

This is a great budget and a good start. I can’t wait to see his cuts to the same departments next year.
What were the increases from say George Bush thru obama?
Are we just getting back to where they started the massive increases?
