Unhinged!?
You know that porch screen door that goes flying by Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz tornado scene?
To: Hojczyk
Something weird is going on with McCain. He is now attacking fellow senators. This guy is breaking down before our eyes

McCain should cash it in. He is old enough he does not really follow what is going on faithfully. He is hell-bent on making statements that will get his name in the news of the day. Other than that, he serves no useful purpose.

General George Custer, the man who sent himself and 268 U.S. soldiers to their deaths at the Battle of Little Big Horn (1876), shares a few traits with John McCain.
- Both graduated at the bottom of their classes at their Military Academies. Both were often disciplined for their conduct. Custer came close to being kicked out of West Point -- then along came the Civil War...
- Both were brave warriors in the field of battle.
- Both were fond of cultivating the media. From Custer's Wikipedia post:
Custer has been called a "media personality", and he valued good public relations and used the print media of his era effectively. He frequently invited journalists to accompany his campaigns (one, Associated Press reporter Mark Kellogg, died at the Little Bighorn), and their favorable reporting contributed to his high reputation...
- McCain's policies in the Middle East and his flirting with ISIS were exceedingly reckless actions. Indeed, McCain has long prided himself on and has tried to build up his reputation as a "maverick" Senator.
Likewise, when reading of Custer's exploits as a troop commander in the Civil War, it's clear he also took big risks. President Grant, for example, criticized Custer's actions at Little Bighorn, saying:
"I regard Custer's Massacre as a sacrifice of troops, brought on by Custer himself, that was wholly unnecessary wholly unnecessary."
We can say for certain that McCain is a highly dangerous person to our Republic. He should censured and kicked out of the Senate. Otherwise McCain could lead our country into a very Big Little Big Horn -- World War III.

McCain was a coward and a traitor in North Vietnam. He was called “song bird” and made propaganda films for the communist bastards. They are on You Tube. I have posted them but they are there to see. I have nothing but disdain for this son of a bitch.

Thanks for keeping Paul in office. Go, Kentucky! Home of Daniel Boone and the birthplace of Honest Abe.

McCain is our back screen door. Knocked around by the winds to find it is hanging one hinge only; still standing, still giving the flies a place on which to light.

Isn’t it odd that the two most well-known veterans of Vietnam are McCain and John Kerry? Sad.

My theory is that McCain is the one who has been leaking all this stuff to the media and he’s panicking thinking he’s gonna get caught. So anything for a distraction.

Paul said McCain's foreign policy would "greatly endanger" the country and "greatly overextend us."
I didn't vote for McCain to have a "foreign policy." Sit down (on a plane back to Arizona) and shut up, boy.

"He has no justification for his objection to having a small nation be part of NATO...," McCain said. What's the justification for this nation being in NATO, from NATO's perspective? What do they provide of value? Why does McCain think American soldiers should die for its integrity?

You're welcome!
I used to live, for a few years, in Pennsyltucky (Camp Hill) and I was just down in Columbus, GA this week.

That makes perfect sense. It would explain the media darling status
To: poconopundit
Agree. If McCain didn’t have his big shot father and grandfathers influence and string pulling behind him ( both navy admirals) he would have been “gone” before the Vietnam war due to mis behavior and bad performance. Typical “influential rich boy can do no wrong” syndrome.
