THE HAGUE — The far-right politician Geert Wilders fell short of expectations in Dutch elections on Wednesday, gaining seats but failing to persuade a decisive portion of voters to back his extreme positions on barring Muslim immigrants and jettisoning the European Union, according to early results and exit polls.
The results were immediately cheered by pro-European politicians who hoped that they could help stall some of the momentum of the populist, anti-European Union and anti-Muslim forces Mr. Wilders has come to symbolize, and which have threatened to fracture the bloc.
Voters, who turned out in record numbers, nonetheless rewarded right and center-right parties that had co-opted parts of his hard-line message, including that of the incumbent prime minister, Mark Rutte. Some parties that challenged the establishment from the left made significant gains.

Looks like the Turkish ploy worked, and the Dutch voters fell for it.

I deal with Dutchies. They’re some of the stupidest smart people I know. And arrogant as hell. They deserve what they’re going to get, sadly.

At least the result wasn’t like the Austrian Presidential election with a hard Leftist winning. Unfortunately, the Dutch, being all about social desirability (look how they all ride bicycles), decided they couldn’t vote for Wilders so they split their votes to the other non-Left parties.
It seems the Dutch are not yet tired of their numbers being raped and dwindled by the Muslim Horde.
Yeah it really ####ing is. But I didn’t see this as a slam dunk.
The wusses were getting wobbly the last several days.
And I didn’t know not allowing people who want to kill you into your country is extremist.

The Dutch have been part of the European surrender block for ages and most of them are still not tired of holding their ankles. The Eastern Europeans are so far the only hope for the continent.
Yep!Britain, Germany,and France, will be taken over at the muslim’s leisure. Sometimes one just has to cut their losses.
Wilders grew his seats from 13 to 20. How is this a loss? No one really expected him to have more than 40% of the seats and he was not going to get any help forming a government from the other 60%. Change takes time. I have not given up on the Netherlands yet.
The flames in Europe are growing.
