Here’s a fact: In 2016, Earth reached its highest temperature on record, trouncing the record set just a year earlier in 2015, which beat the previous record set in 2014. Our planet is warming, and its temperatures are fast heading toward levels that scientists believe will threaten humans and the natural world. Another fact: Educators need to help students learn about climate change, caused by human activity. But how do we do it in a way that engages and inspires them?

“What’s the temperature SUPPOSED to be?”
The Global Warming Hoax morphed into the Climate Change Hoax. This is propagated by the same crew that was warning of the dawn of an ice age 20-30 years ago. When there are reports of record cold or snow in Mid east countries, it’s all part of Global Warming, I’m sorry, Climate Change.
Here is another FACT:
In November 2009, an anonymous whistleblower put over 1000 emails comprising to and from the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia (UEA) on an obscure Russian website. They were subsequently rapidly disseminated around the world.
These emails show a tightly knit cabal of scientists adjusting temperature data to conform to their political agenda; exerting pressure to censor publications going into the “peer reviewed” literature (usually with complete success); bullying journalists with threats of excommunication so that what was published in the mainstream media was in accordance with the global warming agenda; and using the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) as the primary vehicle for their political ambitions.

Here's another fact: we have approximately 200 years of temperature records compared to the 4.5 billion year age of the Earth. In essence, we know nothing.

Looks to me like an unsupported assertion. On what data, assumptions, and methodology is the statement that Earth reached its highest temperature on record in 2016?
Please cite the satellite data used for this claim. Only satellites provide complete global information on temperatures.
I suspect that satellite data was ignored or "adjusted."
How to teach children about climate change:
Teach them what a null hypothesis is. Then ask them if they can figure out what the null hypothesis of the global warming hoax is.
Government education is the propaganda arm of the Democrat party.

Who needs a sophisticated scientific model, when you can prove AGW using common household items? That's why I switched to compact fluorescents. The globe doesn't heat up nearly as much.
Demonstrable bull-pucky, starting from the very first sentence: “. . . In 2016, Earth reached its highest temperature on record, trouncing the record set just a year earlier in 2015 . . .” Now if you dig deep (and you have to dig deep, because nobody reports actual numbers) you’ll find that the NOAA global average temperature for 2016 was 0.01 degrees higher than what they reported for 2015. So apparently “trounced” is a verb the connotations of which are a mystery to the NEA.
Not only is that number scientifically meaningless in any practical sense given the experimental error expected in these measurements, but it’s almost certainly fudged, given that NOAA used temperature data from ocean freighter boiler intake tubes to “adjust” the data derived from buoys specifically-designed to obtain ocean-based temperatures.
But don’t expect the NEA to encourage anyone to teach the little snowflakes those details.
Who will win the fight between sharia and globalist? Will the globalist have a shocked look on their face right before sharia types behead them?
