As we go back to giving more power to the state’s own destiny, go back to the Constitution’s provision of state legislators electing their Senators to represent the state, not the people!
YES YES YES!!!! This fits in perfectly with this return to constitutional "Federalism" philosophy. As people watch in amazement as they become freer and tax are reduced, Trump will have an amazing bully pulpit to put this proposal for a constitutional amendment out there. Of course will be fought tooth and nail by the greedy Senators who are used to all the bit $$$$ coming in from super powerful lobbyists who can compete at the Federal/national level, they won't want to go back to being elected by a measly little state legislature but too bad too sad for them.
That one thing will do huge wonders for reigning in the Fed behemoth.
