Who are those masked men?

A la Don Adams, YOU'VE never heard of the Sacred Cows?!

DC is the district of demons. It is NOT sacred.

George Washington and the other Founding Fathers would be appalled at what they gave us being turned into something of their very own worst nightmares: the total opposite of the intentions of America’s constitutional founding and revolutionary spirit. DC as our master and self proclaimed sacred shrine is disgusting.

If DC is so "sacred," then why are they always in such a hurry to leave it all the time?

It is the people’s DC. NOT theirs.

I live here in the Beltway and the people here feel entitled to your money for their lofty salaries, pensions, and a lifetime job. It got 10x more worse in the last 8 years under the last administration. They could not give a darn about flyover country and still fail to understand what happened in November.

Apparently this yob has never been to Gettysburg

Correct! In 1990 we took our kids, who were born in Alaska, on a cross country tour.

While walking around Gettysburg and Valley Forge, I was in awe at the sacrifice and suffering these men endured. I felt I was on Hallowed ground.

Talk about sacred ground, these places were paid for in blood. I felt honored to visit the house where General Washington spent the winter. In his bedroom was his footlocker. On it was printed simply"George Washington, Virginia". At Gettysburg, I stood where Lincoln gave his "Gettysburg Address" That is the kind of men who founded this country. Today we get fools like this buffoon who think their s%^t should be revered. We are in trouble....

Two gold rings and a big mouth. Was he a used car salesman before he got elected?

And here I always thought the City of Washington and the District of Columbia were built and created on a malaria infested swamp, that nobody else wanted and the government at the time could purchase really cheap.
It’s still a swamp and now infested by criminals and lowlifes.

why have all that in one spot?

Why not let our elected "leaders" legislate from their home States via Internet. It would remove them from the corrupting influences of Washington, with it's unlimited money from lobbyists, as well as separate them from the arm twisting by the party bosses.

They would be closer to their constituents. They might even learn something, if instead of going to Society parties, they would attend neighborhood meetings in church basements and Community Centers.

They can ignore 10,000 emails, but 100 unhappy constituents with torches and pitchforks is hard to ignore.

While we are at it, lets repeal the seventeenth amendment and let our legislatures appoint our Senators, like the founders set this REPUBLIC up to start with.

Better yet. Make it back into a very deep swamp, large gators and all. Send all of the house and senate back to their home states. I no longer believe that it is savable.

Inside the beltway sees themselves as the plantation owners and outside the beltway as their personal slaves.
