Several readers have written in this week saying they’re having a hard time squaring The Times’s own past reports of wiretapping with the paper’s assertions that there is no firm evidence that any warrants for wiretaps have been issued. Readers also expressed confusion with The Times’s assertion that it would be illegal for a White House to receive information about such investigations, when its own wiretapping story in January said the Trump White House was given some information from intercepted communications.
“For months now the NY Times and many other mainstream news sources has been running stories based on anonymous leaks saying that a massive investigation was going on into Trump and company’s Russian dealings based on wiretaps and intel intercepts,” wrote John Penley of Asheville, N.C. “Now Obama officials are saying this all never happened so my question is this: Why have the NY Times and others been saying it has for months now basing their stories on anonymous leaks?”
I reached out to editors in the Washington bureau to seek their help in clarifying the difference between Clapper’s — and The Times’s — assertions that no warrants had been issued, and the reference to wiretapping in the January story.

Brand value of the NY Times seems to be slipping.
They say Obama didn’t order it....so who the hell did that would benefit by it? Lynch worked for Obama and only an idiot would believe that she didn’t follow his orders. You can bet if it was a republican president this story would change drastically! I absolutely detest liberals and like to punch them all in the face...including some cousins of mine.
Here the NYT is guilty of attempted plausable deniability. Nice Try, but FAIL.

Yes, they are going to explain the “difference” between “Obama” and “Obama Administration”, and between “wiretap” and “electronic surveillance”.
Also they clearly demonstrate the difference between “lying liberal rag” and “desperately spinning two faced lying leftist newspaper run by Clinton and Obama operatives”.
The existance of negative numbers has long been known.
Retreating to the fact that Obama did not personally physically go into the computer networks and place a tap on Trump’s phone lines is a new low even for the New York Times. Wow.
So while attempting to defend their leaks and anon. Sources they admit that the intel was from overseas taps.
BY LAW information gathered against U.S. Citizens that show no involvement in National Security threats is supposed to be destroyed.

NYT writers and editors spew out their splurge each day with one intent only - to fit the party line narrative of the day.
They are completely incapable of assessing the impact of the trash they write days and weeks down the road. It is because they live in the short term and the 24 hour news cycle - not even directing the flow of it, but responding to it via the orders they get from the higher up ghouls like Obama, Hillary and the DNC.
There WAS wiretapping/bugging.
There WAS NO FISA warrant.

All of the people that could have ordered it answered to Obama. Strategically, Trump should leave Obama out of it but have Sessions absolutely throw the book at whoever they can pin this on. Get them a 25 year sentence UNLESS they are willing to flip on Obama. Then it’s liberal vs liberal. Media loses.
