GOP Congressional investigation of democrat crimes result in ZERO results.

NO INDICTMENTS, NO ONE GOES TO PRISON.

THEY ARE A SICK JOKE

The thinking of the Obama administration and the MSM is that Trump's complimentary comments on Putin and Russia during the campaign at about the time that Russia was attempting to "back the election" (still unproven) rose to the level of justifying surveillance.

Can we revisit history and consider Obama's complimentary comments regarding Islam, Iran, Cuba, etc.? And much of this in the 2008 campaign? Was there surveillance set up of Obama and his associates by GW because of the enigmatic views espoused by him? Of course not.

What happened in the 2016 campaign is definitely an abuse of power.

I agree with Pelosi, we don't do that kind of stuff in the USA. Let's see how far she can get from that statement by next weekend.

Now it’s time for McConnell and Ryan to step up to the plate and start acting like Republicans.

But they ARE acting like Republicans.

No special prosecutors. Sessions needs to nut up and un-recuse himself. Something - like you know I've thought about it and I've changed my mind I did nothing wrong and I've got a job to do.

I can imagine president Trump being mad - been waiting to get Sessions for a while - he shows up and promptly recuses himself when he did nothing wrong. Tell the dems and the media to f'off - do your job. And indict HRC while your at it - this is a war and we've got the power and the other side is acting stupid

It is time to crush them.

They should gather all of the employees together in State Dept, Homeland Security, and FBI and say we know there are employees illegally leaking information and purposely doing harm to this administration. we are investigating and you have 3 days to resign or you will be caught, convicted and sent to prison for a long time.

he is avoiding the spotlight for the first time in his life

It's an open revelation, by means of the concealment.

And besides, the house he chose telegraphs 'dark forces welcome, inquire within' like no other.

Some folks like to decorate around their houses for Halloween, with ghouls and graves and skeletons, but trick-or-treaters would instinctively stay far away from the Obama lair, saying, "Whoa, this isn't décor."

the way McCain has been sneaking around passing on fake information about Trump and the Russians, it really seems like McCain might be part of it.

Great point. The floodlight may reveal for all to see that our "maverick" is actually one of the swamp monsters.

Think about this, though ...

Donald Trump has just tossed the responsibility for this investigation over to Congress, and yet he has access to all of the information that would come out in an investigation anyway -- so he knows what they have to find in their investigation.

This move isn't intended to push the story out of the spotlight by turning everything over to a bunch of useless jerks. It's intended to make those useless jerks do Trump's dirty work for him.

Absolutely. Congress is a legislative body, not an investigative one. It is horrible at investigations. A grand jury is the right way to go.

Yet, President Trump has demonstrated a political cunning that seems to exceed even Obama's (who, I have to concede, was reasonably cunning.) So I do not think that President Trump will let ANY tool go unused.

Now it’s time for McConnell and Ryan to step up to the plate and start acting like Republicans.

Therein lies the core issue of the problem.

RINOs are still running in the herd.

Until they're purged we will have "unexpected" problems.

I’m certain he or she fears Obama / Hillary much more than the DoJ or Congress

What, really? But lying to Congress under oath is a felony. [/sarcasm]. Sasse tweeted yesterday that we are in the midst of a civilization-warping crisis of public trust"

Now Trump has put the onus on his fellow congress critters to investigate and reestablish that "public trust." [H.L. Mencken: "It could probably be shown by facts and figures that the only distinctly native American criminal class is Congress."]

Actually this is just as much about the republicans as it is about the democrats: find out who is impeding the investigations and there are your DOJ targets. What they are trying to find in my opinion is a correlation of those wire taps to any Clinton emails. You get that and you can RICO the entire DNC.

Trump isn’t doing this in a vacuum.

One thing everyone should remember and reinforce when the Tapping of communications by Obama’s crew is descussed in the fact that they hacked Senate Staff P.C.s (Remember the Diane Finestien spat) a year or so ago
Also the attempt at hacking into the State of Georgia’s voting rolls traced back to a Federal Government server last fall!

Obama's corrupt use of government data collection needs to be fully and publicly investigated.

If Trump doesn’t like deputy AG, he should make a recess appointment. A years service by a loyalist is worth way more than waiting through the contentious approval process. Rudi Guiliani would be great choice.

These FISA requests have to be pretty specific with good reasons, and the surveillance allowed is limited and not wide ranging. I’m pretty sure that an 0bama DOJ surveillance would have exceeded its legal limits knowing the MO of the criminal cabal that previously inhabited th WH. Someone will have broken the law- probably Lynch. Maybe the “apolitical” leftover Dep AG switched sides?

Has the punk criminal Obama shown his disgusting face recently?

“Let’s see who is the John Dean of this scandal. You may have to start with smaller fish and get them to roll over.”

How about the leftover Obama deputy AG? He would know about all the FISA warrants etc.
