Am I right that Trump has mentioned illegal Leaks, but not the illegal intercepts much at all. The intercepts are Watergate-level and worse, and easy to prove. Looks like the time has come?

I would guess that there are security cameras just about everywhere in that tower’s machanical/electrical rooms that may have recorded nefarious activities not discovered until the tapes had been reviewed by a professional spookbuster.

That this whole thing appears to be an elaborate setup and the Trump administration needs to proceed very carefully in order to avoid further pitfalls in pursuing it? You think that’s “dreaming?” What sort of comic book superhero alternate reality do you live in?
By using this term, Trump is speaking to them (or to the fellow travelers, as the leaders simply don't care) in their own language.
This makes sense, and I hope it's true.. And the timing in the reveal is good. Number 1, his own attorney general is in place, and it follows the Joint Congress speech which consolidated his power as President.
It’s not McCarthyism, but Trump is intentionally framing the event in a way that the low-information class will understand (i.e., people who get all there news from Twitter).

The Gov't/NSA doesn't need to physically go into any building to tap the phones. They're directly tied into the phone-carriers (wire, fiber & cellular), and a FISA warrant results in them being able to gather what they want directly from these carriers. BTW - this would include all data traffic as well, whether via the internet or "private" circuits. Big brother stuff ...
Exactly. I’d love to see “McCarthyism” associated as strongly with the Dems now as “Crooked Hillary” was with Clinton, “Little Marco” with Rubio, and “Failing” with the New York Times. We should push this so hard that schoolchildren when they read the Marxist school books wailing about McCarthy, HUAC, Hiss, the Rosenbergs, the Palmer Raids, etc., they automatically say, “Oh, McCarthyism—just like what the Democrats are doing to Trump and his people now.”
This would screw with the left-wing narratives on so many levels. It not only makes them look bad now, because McCarthyism is currently associated with illegitimate witch hunts, but it also highlights their hypocrisy and plays games with their version of history.
