“After lying under oath to Congress about his own communications with the Russians, the Attorney General must resign,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said in a statement released Wednesday night.
“Sessions is not fit to serve as the top law enforcement officer of our country,” Pelosi said in the statement, according to the Boston Globe.
The Boston Globe also reported that Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) has called for Sessions’ resignation.
“We need Attorney General Jeff Sessions … to resign,” Warren said. “We need it now.”
The Associated Press tweeted on Thursday that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) has joined he ranks of Democrats calling for Sessions to resign.

This is one reason why it's a good idea to confirm a capable, reputable cabinet nominee by a 100-0 margin ... because a Senator is much more credible if and when it comes time to demand his resignation.
Sessions is doing himself no favors with his media presence today. Just saw him stumble and bumble through a lengthy interview with Tucker Carlson, and not once did he show more than slight irritation at the implications he is dishonest. I am now starting to wonder if Trump picked the wrong man for this job. I want an AG with a Trumpian fire in the belly - a no-holds-barred, take-no-prisoners defiance that invokes the hypocrisy of the Loretta Lynch and Eric Holder non-recusals. Just imagine how Trump would have responded to this nonsense - that’s the template his AG needs to follow (and entire cabinet, for that matter). Instead, we got a wimp who caves and retreats at the first salvo.
Time to open up investigations on all the scandals during the Obama administration. That will get their attention.

It is going to fail. The attacks don’t always work. During Bush’s first term, they tied him to Enron and it didn’t work. They aren’t getting Trump on racism. That is why they are using Russia. Trump winning the election on immigration goes against what all the media’s political analysts said the Republicans needed to do to win, support comprehensive immigration reform.
This would go nowhere if the Republicans closed ranks and stood firm. It is Ryan’s and McConnell’s responsibility to see to it, but they choose to sit on their hands.
Trump’s victory (and ours) will be complete when we replace numerous Republicans in Congress, in order to get rid of Ryan and McConnell.

How about launching an investigation into Eric Holder over the “Fast and Furious” gun-running scandal? They can scream this is “old news” but chronologically it’s just the first of many atrocities that deserve a hard look.

Hope Mr. Sessions dusts off the evidence of collusion between the media and the rats and turns it into a RICO prosecution. Just for grins.
This is what Trump should do. He should declare the muslim brotherhood and all their affiliates terrorist organizations. He should then begin investigating every government official, employee, contractor, NGO, etc for supporting terrorism. He should hit hard and be relentless. Use the full force of the government to rid the country of terrorist sympathizers. Start with McCain and the State Department and end only when there are none left in the country. Strip Soros of his money, close his organizations and then jail him when he has no resources to fight. Or send him to Hungary. They would be happy to welcome him.
He should also go after Obama, VJ, and the rest of the shadow government. Put a bright spotlight on them and then toss them in jail for treason. They have collaborated with declared enemies of the country. They violated their oaths of office. They should not be free.
The left will not go quietly. Trump can’t show weakness or mercy. The left must be beaten so severely that there is no question they have been destroyed. The country and the free world depends on Trump succeeding.
Would say that Mr. Sessions was confirmed and sworn in on February 9th, and in 20 days has put together his game plan, and released the first salvo in great devastating detective work on the DOJ awarding internal settlements to liberal activist legal groups— to the tune of billions, diverted from federal DOJ funds by Holder and Lynch, with obamaumao’s ok. It was this quiet announcement that started the “grasping at straws” media whine of nothing, with no power in it at all in all reality. The recusal is for any Trump campaign case. Not a hitlery, or obamaumao, or holder or weinergate, or the big prize— the ongoing FBI open case on the Clinton Foundation, and the 650K emails on the muslim spy and dyke girlfriend of hitlery, huma’s pervo/pedophile husband, mr. weiner.
Have said it elsewhere on FR: the DOJ is in charge of the FBI, whose role as domestic counterintelligence (anti-espionage) looms large over hitlery, obamaumao, the drug cartel driven communists, soros and black lives matter, and other major threats to our security. There is war in heaven (the war between good and evil people in our intel jungle), and the good guys are winning. Mr. Sessions will soon be firing the “career” prosecutors who served under obamaumao and the ball will really start to roll. Don’t let his quiet demeanor fool you, because it is fooling the idiot dems.

I’m saying Sessions is done. They’ve got him now that he recused himself. It’s like taking the Fifth Amendment. You’re automatically guilty. Mark my words. Sessions is gone.
