Battle in the streets? Leftist agitators vow to stop pro-Trump 'scum

Following weeks of street protests by the left, Americans are holding rallies to support the new commander in chief, but leftist agitators are vowing to disrupt the patriotic events.

The “Spirit of America Rallies,” which have been taking place around the country since February, will culminate this weekend, with most scheduled for Saturday, March 4, including one in Washington, D.C., at LayFayette Square, beginning at 1 p.m.

But they won’t be the only ones on the streets, as self-styled “antifa” have vowed to disrupt some of the protests, sparking fears of conflict.

One group of such leftists has already announced its own gathering at the same location. The group “Smash Racism DC” bragged about its street protests during the inauguration and against President Trump’s travel ban. It suggested this latest effort would fit the same pattern.

Pro-Trump organizers of the Washington, D.C., event blamed “complaints from leftists” for some Facebook pages designed to promote the rally being taken down.

“Antifa,” short for “anti-fascists,” have become a prominent part of the left-wing street protests that have swept the country since President Trump’s inauguration. The loosely organized network organizes protests and occasional physical attacks against those it considers “racist” or “fascist.” During the riots that accompanied President Trump’s inauguration, Richard Spencer, a figurehead of the so-called “alt-right” movement, was sucker-punched by a masked protester in an attack widely celebrated by the mainstream media.

I wonder what Trump is doing about Soros because he is the mf-er financing all these groups which I would classify as terror groups. They smash up and burn property, physically assault people, is Trump waiting for them to kill somebody?

“Fire extinguishers at the ready.”
Good idea.A CO2 extinguisher discharged into the face of an assailant will drop him/her like they were struck by lightning.

Whenever I hear from my wife about what she is reading about Obama and his folks are doing in DC I always come up with the same question:

Are they TRYING to start a civil war? And I think they just may be.

Wouldn’t it be fascinating if Obama was more of a threat AFTER his presidency than he was during it.

This is why reactionary movements get started. The Left runs wild until people have had enough. Things will get ugly if the government doesn’t do its job by enforcing the law.

If you are going to carry wasp spray you might as well carry a pistol. The lieberals will sue you just as hard if you are using bug spray as a firearm.

Bear spray might work or mace because they are not lethal. If you want a cheap option then take a spray bottle filled with mostly water but add two table spoons of ammonia and a few drops of dish washing soap. That isn’t illegal anywhere and if a cop asked what it is you can say “Soap. I’m a germaphobe.”

But if you are going to use something that can cause actual injury you are better off killing than injuring. You don’t want a blind snowflake seeking sympathy from a jury.

Just my opinion

“Battle in the streets” isn’t about battling - its about craven Democrat politicians, to score political and media points, allowing these angry, entitled dimwits to smash-up public facilities in areas that are already deeply leftist.

Its basically allowing children to have a tantrum in their rooms

What would a real battle look like? They have absolutely NO IDEA.

re: Cooper’s colors

I would say Yellow. “Today is the day I might have to forcibly defend myself and others.”

Yellow: Relaxed alert. No specific threat situation. Your mindset is that “today could be the day I may have to defend myself”. You are simply aware that the world is a potentially unfriendly place and that you are prepared to defend yourself, if necessary. You use your eyes and ears, and realize that “I may have to shoot today”. You don’t have to be armed in this state, but if you are armed you should be in Condition Yellow. You should always be in Yellow whenever you are in unfamiliar surroundings or among people you don’t know. You can remain in Yellow for long periods, as long as you are able to “Watch your six.” (In aviation 12 o’clock refers to the direction in front of the aircraft’s nose. Six o’clock is the blind spot behind the pilot.) In Yellow, you are “taking in” surrounding information in a relaxed but alert manner, like a continuous 360 degree radar sweep. As Cooper put it, “I might have to shoot.”

Orange: Specific alert. Something is not quite right and has your attention. Your radar has picked up a specific alert. You shift your primary focus to determine if there is a threat (but you do not drop your six). Your mindset shifts to “I may have to shoot that person today”, focusing on the specific target which has caused the escalation in alert status. In Condition Orange, you set a mental trigger: “If that person does “X”, I will need to stop them”. Your pistol usually remains holstered in this state. Staying in Orange can be a bit of a mental strain, but you can stay in it for as long as you need to. If the threat proves to be nothing, you shift back to Condition Yellow.

Dry powder works FAR better, and the canister is much lighter to carry.

As a former firefighter, I can tell you that one breath full of powder WILL stop you right there. BUT the masks these cretins tend to wear will inhibit powder as a deterrent. CO2 will not stop, just perhaps surprise an assailant ... unless you strike them with the metal canister.

I was being somewhat sarcastic, forgot the /s at end.

as you say the bottle of ammonia is one way- same can be said for water and bleach again with soap

First time they counter protests Trump rally, will be mild- but will keep escalating until they get overwhelming response- then the left and MSM will scream that Trump supporters are goons and thugs.

People need to film these actions by the left

And just as illegal as Mace when used for purposes "other than intended". It should be covered under the second amendment, but I can't afford the attorney fees needed to make the challenge.
