This is in Alabama.
Don’t be ridiculous. Alabama doesn’t have Mardi Good. Next thing you know you’ll be trying to sell beach front property in Alabama.
“73 year old man accidentally hit accelerator instead of brake pedal. He is in custody for testing.”
One time back in the 1990’s I was at a medical clinic in Palestine, TX when, all of a sudden I heard a screech of tires, looked up, and an elderly lady in a Chrysler K car had floored the accelerator and shot from one side of the road to the other side and hit a car on the other side. She had no idea what happened.
Still no word as to why this guy was on the parade route.
Place your bets.
Big news today (I think same story) was the raiding and banning of the driver’s moske.
Trumpets are for pansies, real men play trombone.
Nothing worse than a stuck spit valve, except maybe if you also run out of slide oil.
:)
I was there with my family. It was an old man driving a van which was a part of the parade. He lost control of the van when he hit the gas instead of the brakes. Pretty bad all the way around.
They know their entry door is closing, and they'll begin losing numbers and strength here. So...
The Google people would love to ban drivers.
Several years ago at my drivers license renewal I had to take an eye exam. I was waiting for a few folks ahead of me. A guy about 75 yrs old was trying to pass the eye exam. The young girl testing him kept saying, come on, that was close, keep trying, one more time, almost got it, yes you passed!
The ONLY vehicles that oughta be allowed on parade routes are the floats, classic cars for the Grand Marshall etc, and Police/Fire vehicles. Anybody else driving on the parade route oughta be consigned to a GOLF CART.
***Beautiful Gulf Coast Community across the Bay from Mobile.***
Absolutely. Sugar white sand. Miss the way it feels under my feet. No other beaches like it I’ve ever seen. I miss Mobile I just don’t miss the crime.
My daughter was in the parade, separated from the crash by one float.
Well thank God she wasn’t hurt. Any news on the others?
