No need to get snarky. Since you are a man, I assume, would you want your wife in this same situation? I’m sure she knows better. For the record I am a lady and I know how to act like one.
After reading comments such as this one, I think we should have another category of media. We could have legitimate media (accurate and objective), fake media (subjective, conveniently incomplete if not downright erroneous, agenda-driven), and petty/frivolous media (for slow news days when people get whipped up by the most nonsensical things).
As for you, Micha, I think you’ll end up with egg on your face when the circumstances of this earth-shattering disgrace of how Kellyanne is positioned on the couch are explained. But even if she did sit in a “trashy” fashion as you claim, is she as trashy as someone who channels her inner James Carville in order to take a swipe at someone? Or did you not just not know better than to insult people who live in trailer homes? That, my FReeper FRiend, actually was tacky.
Yes she is being targeted. I get the idea the office was very crowded and she was trying to stay out of the way while taking pictures. It is still a strange way to do it.
She simply tucked her knees under her. 0bama turned the Oval Office into a carnival at times which seemed to be okay for the MSMLSD.

She grew up in Camden, NJ. Her dad was a trucker, mom worked in a bank... parents divorced when she was 3. She didn't get to go to prep schools or Ivy league colleges, and probably didn't grow up with the country club set.
She wasn't born with a silver spoon like so many we normally see in the D.C. crowd... but she is still remarkably successful in her career. That's what counts in my mind.
Frankly, its nice to see people in the other 99% working in this administration... especially when they're just as talented as the usual 1% folks who normally get these jobs.

Where was the outrage over Bill Clinton showing up in jogging shorts for oral sex? Give it a break. Or Clinton and Bush wearing Blue Jeans and casual clothes there. At least Trump dresses like a President.
I’m guessing she was trying to get her legs OUT of the picture when some dumb journalist decided to make them the focus OF the picture.

Look at the geometry in that picture - because the seat of many chairs/sofas is deeper than is comfortable for shorter women. If she’s going to get her back vertical and resting on the back of the seat then her knees are back from the edge. She either has to tuck her legs up under herself or slouch down. Not in a skirt!
