Former NAACP branch president Rachel Dolezal, who lied about being black but still identifies as black, is now jobless, living on food stamps and expects to lose her home next month.
"There's no protected class for me," the former NAACP branch president told The Guardian. "I'm this generic, ambiguous scapegoat for white people to call me a race traitor and take out their hostility on. And I'm a target for anger and pain about white people from the black community. It's like I am the worst of all these worlds."
Dolezal has applied for over 100 jobs, but has received no offers, even from a supermarket. She has, however, been offered work in porn and reality TV. While a friend helped pay her rent for February, Dolezal expects she'll lose her home next month.

But in the long run, she will be better off getting out of the scamming game altogether. It's too bad the supermarket didn't hire her. Surely some small business could find a suitable place for her, and if she gets her head in order, she might work her way up to something in a few years. Or she could change her name and drive for Uber. Or look for work as something totally anonymous, like a copy editor.
I suspect that her problem is that all of her education, experience and contacts are in kookoo land. Today that's the cursus honorum for academia, but she's damaged goods and might cause embarrassment for anyone who hired her. If she committed a serious enough crime, especially of a political nature, some college would regard her as a celebrity asset, but I don't get the impression she's that ruthless.

Yep, white people are just white and expected to suck it up in a culture where every other designation gets a special set aside. At least she's a woman. White, heterosexual, men, over 25 got nothing...

And of course you’re right. I saturated the Manhattan market when I was looking for a new job. Hundreds of resumes in a short time sent out.
Also, she’s been offered porn work. By whom I have no idea!!
Plus if she has two hands and a license, she can drive a cab.
It was good enough for me at times.
She can clean the bottom of my shoes while i’m wearing them.
If that doesn't work, she could take hormones to become a man. She would then be able to take home greater pay than a woman.
And then of course is the ultimate fall back position; disability. She no doubt suffers from PTSD due to having been rejected by the black community.
How unfortunate that her African Studies degree doesn't qualify her for waiting on tables or some other productive labor.
Given her history of playing the victim card, the race victim card, while lying about her own backround, what hiring manager in his right mind would hire this woman?

Dolezal detailed her childhood in Montana in the article as one containing a suppression of her creativity by her white Christian fundamentalist parents, who supposedly beat her.
Supposedly? Either they beat her and were charged, or they did not. And I am beginning to get the picture here - she is at war with her Creator.
A year after Dolezal received a graduate scholarship and teaching capacity at the historically black Howard University, she became pregnant and her tutor revoked the two positions. Dolezal sued Howard for both gender and racial discrimination because the tutor had said “your white relatives can probably pay your tuition.”
Well, well, well. A black university conducted racial hatred and discrimination against her because she is white - and she blames........white people.
But according to her brother, “when she came [to Howard], they saw she was white and she wasn’t treated that well, especially by people that worked there. She probably started developing this kind of dislike for being white and dislike for white people. She used to tell [her adopted brother] … that all white people are racists.
She is not mentally ill - she is a liberal who is deluded, deceived, and cursed by God.
