KEEP MOVING

A college class was graduating on a hot and humid day. As the graduates walked across the platform and received their diplomas from the president of the college, he smiled, shook their hands, and said loudly, "Congratulations!" Then, in a much lower voice, one that was firm and could be heard only by the graduates, he would say, "Keep moving".

He was only trying to keep the line moving across the stage, but his words were good advice for a lifetime: "Keep moving". After every achievement growing up, graduation, marriage, job promotion, even retirement the best advice is, "Keep moving. Don't stop. Don't stagnate".

There is more to life than you have found thus far. This is not the end; it is only the beginning. "Keep moving."

When we approach life with this attitude, we look forward to the future and what God has in store for us.

I really hope the roof problem gets resolved. I am so glad it got warm here and melted all the snow and ice on my FLAT roof. (eek)

DO NOT sing with laryngitis, especially if you have any sort of a fever.

I am sure that the Almighty will enjoy the choir without you harming yourself!

No more light shows after those that came through last night. Blues skies today, though it was windy and chilly.

Sorry I disappeared after posting a greeting. Hubby asked if I’d like to go get some pizza and how could anyone say no to that? We’re trying to cheer up after saying our final farewells to a long-time dear friend this afternoon. He’s up there with other Vietnam vets who have passed before, having a large time. Back here, we miss him.

FR’s getting worse and worse. Getting to be a real pain to spend time here, that’s for sure.

There’s a sense of relief in knowing “Big C”, as we all called him, IS at peace now. He was a very sick man the past 6 months. He just never told anyone.

Oops! Sorry. Shouldn’t have mentioned pizza so late at night. LOL! But now you have a good idea what to do about supper tomorrow night. :-)
