Pre-prepared talking points put together long before they had any clue what was in the plan.

I'm beginning to believe this is the reason the Republicans appear to be sitting on their hands re an Obamacare repeal proposal.
They are painfully aware that whatever is put out there for discussion will immediately be attacked on all fronts by the left and their media sycophants, regardless of the proposal's merits.
It's best, IMO, to follow the Democrat playbook.
Assemble the legislation, keep it under wraps, then ram it through in the dark of night before opponents know what hit them.

I genuinely hate that woman.
May God forgive me for hating anyone. It just comes way too easy where she is concerned.

OK Nanners. How about we just do nothing for the next 8 years.
We will just let your Obamacare plan explode and look at the remains.

There’s no such thing as a ‘top Democrat’. They are all bottom feeders judging from their language.

While there’s no medicare trust fund, those of us on it, pay $100+ monthly from our social security which we paid into for years.
Medicaid on the other hand is a freebie. If people want medicaid they should have to pay for it...maybe not as much as medicare, but say half of medicare for adults $50mo and minimal $10mo for a child under 18. Sadly it will result in a 2 tiered medical system, but it already is that way with a lot of doctors not accepting medicaid presently. That would be a start anyway. For workers on Obamacare presently, a possible solution would be double medicare rates for adults $200mo and $20 per child. If they can find it cheaper or better elsewhere, go for it. Still going to cost the taxpayers a lot of bucks but much less. If I don’t know what I’m talking about, just tell me.

Replacing it is, indeed, dangerous. It needs to be simply repealed, annulled, eliminated- along with all other federal interference in the medical and insurance marketplace. It that happens, costs will come down radically and access will improve , also radically. When we don't have meddlers meddling and we don't have to use our medical dollar to pay 50 cents to support a government bureaucrat and another twenty fi5e cents to support a private bureaucrat most of the friction is taken out of the system. It runs smoother, faster, and altogether more efficiently.
