BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:00 P.M.) – The Kurdish-led “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) liberated several sites from the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist organization on Thursday, killing and wounding several militants amid their large-scale advance in northeast Al-Raqqa.

According to the SDF’s official media wing, their forces liberated the villages of Al-Qandeel Al-Sharqi, Abu Jandal, and Mahbash in the northeastern countryside of the Al-Raqqa Governorate.

With their latest advance in northeastern Al-Raqqa, the Syrian Democratic Forces have managed to clear much of this region, paving the way for their comrades in the west to push closer to the provincial capital.

This is a pro Assad news source. But since US involvement it has been supportive of SDF fighters including the Kurds.

Heard this morning that we (US) are putting more boots on the ground in Syria. No details.

Pro-Assad, Pro-Palestinian, Pro-Iran, Pro-Hezbollah.

But the Fadels have been about the only semi-trustworthy source of news from Syria since this began.

So? Anyone know where the Kurds are keeping those ISIS PW’s? Come on CNN and the rest of the MSM, you are slipping up. Actually, who really cares what they do with them.

I don’t know, but i have seen some captured. They looked unharmed. If you like, I could find a few pics.

And no, after what ISIS has done, they are due little sympathy.

We are better off without CNN, No News, is much better than Fake News.

Obama said that so he would not be forced to deal with them. Of course while funding them.

IMHO in the last few years, we have been reduced to cheerleaders in this Syrian ground force operation.

That is fine with me since I don't want the Alawite Assad removed, because the Sunnis or the Shiites will take over; and Both groups are hostile to us.

Some will say the Alawites are a Shiite sect , but the Alawites tolerate Christians, and other minorities, the Iranian Shiites are not going to be good for the USA, anymore than the Sunni Saudi Arabians are going to be good for us.

We inadvertently benefited from getting pushed out of that Syrian mess. -Tom

I’d prefer no involvement, but the Bitch and the Bastard did create this Frankenstein Monster.

Kurds are great soldiers. And the Syrian YPG & YPJ have saved many lives protecting other people. Must respect them for that.

Do you know the story of the Shingal Mountain Massacre?

Almost genocide again. JPG and 1 other element stopped it.

If you are referring to the slaughter of the Yazidis-Yes.

This type of tortuous slaughter should come as no surprise because along with Jews who have been singled out in the Koran for slaughter, Muslims also believe Yazidis are devil worshipers and are even more repulsive to Allah than us other Kafirs. -Tom

I believe most people are familiar with the incident, I meant the acts that prevented it from being a huge massacre. (a lot were killed, but multiple tens of thousands were saved.)

That story is complicated and is hard for some to accept as fact. That part, the fact, was conveyed to me by a couple of Yzidi’s. Straight from horse’s mouth. No sugar coat.
