A defiant Mexican official on Wednesday said the country will not accept a new immigration plan from the White House and will even take the issue to the UN, according to a report.
I want to make it clear in the most emphatic way that the Mexican government and the people of Mexico do not have to accept provisions that one government unilaterally wants to impose on another, said Foreign Affairs Secretary Luis Videgaray, according to his translated remarks reported by Reuters.

I have to look that up....not that I don’t believe you... I’ve just never heard that before. Now my curiosity is piqued.
They aren't the only ones.
“Mexico needs to sell off their border States to a consortium of Free Staters, withdraw their peeps south and let the new Border States see if they can set up a better govt.”
Damn. That’s a great idea. I’d volunteer to head down with a division of US Army and Marine veterans.
Mexico is responsible for enforcing their immigration laws and we're responsible for enforcing ours. If somebody from Venezuela, for example, gets a tourist visa to spend 30 days as a tourist in Mexico, Mexico's concern is that they don't overstay their visa. If they leave Mexico by the end of the 30 days, Mexico doesn't have an interest in that person anymore.
If the US fails to control our own borders and foolishly allows the person to enter the US, it is our own fault, and not the fault of Mexico. By forcing Mexico to take them back just because the person illegally entered the US by way of Mexico is to force Mexico to enforce US border laws. That is OUR job, not theirs.
Mexico, the Pee Wee Herman of nation states.
Seriously though, what if they place police at the crossover point and physically stop people from returning? What could we do? Isn’t that called a Mexican standoff?
More emphasis must be placed on illegals self-deporting themselves. Stiff fines and jail time for employers who hire them; no benefits of any kind for illegals. They’ll leave on their own if there’s no money in it for them.
I’d give it a shot to be rid of the Libtards here.
As pointed out on Conservative Tree House, President Trump’s position on legal immigration is that it can only be from countries that accept criminal aliens, including illegals, back. If this man’s policy becomes Mexico’s official policy, then Trump will suspend all immigration from Mexico.
Or park a carrier off each coast east of Mexico and enforce a blockade.
The days of Mexico mooching off the USA .... are OVER!
Apparently the oligarchs in Mexico don't think that the US is a sovereign country, and they should just be allowed to invade.
We have enough Mexicans. We don’t need anymore.
Western Union and the wire transfer companies have a lot of infirmacion
Individuals have those cards and the records are in the Mexican consulates. If the Mexican government destroys those records, they are admitting the citizenship ID cards were just a fraudulent method to change *undocumented* to *documented*.....not that Mexican documentation means anything here in the US. It was grandstanding and gave the Mexican government a way to provide *legal aid* to those who are here w/o US documentation. (Wow...that makes me dizzy....and a little nauseated)
It’s absurd. If Trump holds out against issuing visas, that also means no American shopping sprees for the rich Mexicans, right? And if it’s a hassle (or expensive), what does it do to the cheap Mexican vacation crowd?
Round and round it goes.....
All we have to do is adopt Mexico’s standards. Problem solved...got bullets?
Is Mexico saying it doesn't want its OWN CITIZENS back in the country, when America kicks them out? Seems kind of harsh to me.
They want their poor and criminals in the US. They don’t have to take care of the problems.
But they have no choice. The MX government doesn’t have to agree.
In other news, the Atlanta Falcons “refuse to accept” the come from behind win of the Patriots earlier this month, and a psychiatric patient has just refused to accept he is not king of the planet Krypton.
