How about not screwing around with the menu ??? Its now limited that its hard to tell what they sell. Not only that—the Food is tasteless mush. They “jumped the Shark” in 2008.

Interesting, I ran McD's from 76 to 98 and up until in the 90's all sandwiches were made in batches from 1 to 12, wrapped and held in the holding bin for 10 min. max, the holding time in the bin never changed up to the time I left, can't speak for after.

Once "made to order" was implemented in the 90's all food was batch cooked and placed in holding cabinets, generally for 30 min. So even though all the food in the earlier years was held up to 10 min in the bin, it was always made fresh and was hot, in the latter years it was always assembled out of a bin and warm at best.

Anytime there is a lot of food waste it is directly because of the ineptitude of the management, people that wasted a lot of food had short careers with me.

worked at Taco Bell in Isla Vista, Cal; menu items were 19¢. So 4 tacos and a Pepsi (no Coke) for a buck.

I remember when McDonalds first introduced their Quarter Pounder. I don't recall the year, but it was around Christmas - I remember seeing the first commercial on TV while watching "A Christmas Carol." I also remember that it sold for $.59, $.69 for a QP with cheese!

2 for $5 menu disappeared in WA state.

Same with KC. But they still have the 2 for $3.00 menu... 2 double cheeseburgers for $3. Of course, that means the price has gone up by 50%, since they used to be on the dollar menu.

But they also have the Egg McMuffin on the 2 for $3 menu... I wonder if they're the same as the "regular" egg mcmuffins?

well, soda is basically flavored water with CO2 — they can sell it much cheaper and the profits will still be there

Had a similar photo shoot when working at a Ruby Tuesday’s 20 years ago. They said that the photos must contain exactly what would be contained in the dish. They didn’t say that everything had to be in the same place. So, if a burger had two pickles, they were front loaded so both showed in the picture. Same with tomatoes, lettuce, etc.

Of course McDonald’s is terrible, it’s FAST FOOD meant to be grabbed on the run when no other options are available.....moderation, people, moderation...

I’m not a huge fan anymore, but every once in a while I get a craving for some of that toilet-busting badness.

Their attempts to add healthy food are part of the problem, because none of it was any good. The places I mentioned aren’t boutique, they’re national franchises, they just have better food and a better atmosphere. All the fastfood places run into the same problems from the liberals, McD is losing to the competition, not the politics.

McDonalds’ has a black outreach program called 365Black.

By my math that leaves zero days in the year for me.

Too bad, so sad. They can wallow in their ghetto demographic. I opt out.

Plus, by not going there your odds of getting your food spit in decreases greatly.

Cost of sofa isn’t the reason. Gangbangers and sickos handing me my food are the problem
