The Miuslims I know in Texas really are American and Texan first. Know several personally. They will have a beer or three with me and hate the terrroriist Muslims in the Middle East. Of course, there are some outliers, but my Muslim friends despise them, too. Not an act. A few of them even served in the Gulf (yes, on the US side). They don’t talk about it muich, but then again most combat vets don’t. So this does not surprise me.

Or maybe just people doing nice things for others? Like when the mosque was burned in Texas recently. Local Jewish community opened their synagogue for them and raised money to help them rebuild.
