2. McMaster apparently has not a freaking clue about Islam. Bannon does.

Spicer implied (or maybe I just inferred) that if McMaster wants to change the makeup of the NSC all he needs to do is discuss it with Trump. I don’t see a problem here.
McMaster know exactly who he is fighting. Speeches made while in uniform under a previous administration are meaningless as a guide.
