I didn’t think I’d ever leave the CIA. But because of Trump, I quit.

Trump’s actions in office have been even more disturbing. His visit to CIA headquarters on his first full day in office, an overture designed to repair relations, was undone by his ego and bluster. Standing in front of a memorial to the CIA’s fallen officers, he seemed to be addressing the cameras and reporters in the room, rather than the agency personnel in front of them, bragging about his inauguration crowd the previous day. Whether delusional or deceitful, these were not the remarks many of my colleagues and I wanted to hear from our new commander in chief. I couldn’t help but reflect on the stark contrast between the bombast of the new president and the quiet dedication of a mentor — a courageous, steadfast professional — who is memorialized on that wall. I know others at CIA felt similarly.

I think we found one of the leakers.

That certainly crossed my mind. If true, his coming out and making these remarks paves the way for the “appearance” of the Trump Administration to be piling on him to get even. I knew we had losers in government but not this many. They’re everywhere, they’re everywhere.

Obama enabled the rise of ISIS because he rejected the warnings of U.S. intelligence on two key points. First, that he keep a U.S. combat force in Iraq; second, that ISIS was rapidly growing in strength and influence and would pose a danger to the entire Middle East. Then, before leaving office, he blamed the CIA for not providing him with an accurate picture of ISIS:

“The ability of ISIL to not just mass inside of Syria, but then to initiate major land offensives that took Mosul, for example, that was not on my intelligence radar screen,” Obama told CNN. Intelligence officials dispute Obama’s claim, saying he ignored the warning signs in favor of his narrative that he successfully withdrew the U.S. from the Iraq war.

This bureaucratic appendage, Price, would not have thrived in the Obama Administration had he not been willing to compromise truth for partisan politics. Because of all the backs he stabbed Price knows his days are numbered. So he resigns on the op-ed page of the Washington Post, hoping to profit from his instant notoriety on the talk show circuit and maybe a tell-all book.

Bunk.

He's the designated liar for the lecture circuit.

His job is going to all the right gatherings telling Neocons and useful idiots the sort of lies the CIA has reason to believe will go viral among the faithful and harm both Trump and his agenda.

Plenty of other "former CIA" employees have done the same thing and still do the same thing. Their claim to having left the CIA is just like Bill Clinton's claim that he didn't sleep with that woman; something they know the gullible will swallow and hopefully use to shout down the opposition.

“I didn’t think I’d ever leave the CIA. But because of Trump, I quit.”

I’m sure this lefty’s days were numbered and he saw the writing on the wall that he would be terminated. What a POS, it’s called cleaning the swamp. Can you imagine a turd like that working at the CIA, no wonder we’re all f’d up.

It’s the white sign that says “EXIT”. Use that door and don’t ever come back. I have quit jobs that were for companies that were doing things I don’t approve of. I found another gig and I walked. No fanfare, no grand oaths, I just removed myself from the situation.

The last time, I was contacted by two board directors to ask why I was leaving.. I told them. The CEO that was doing stupid things is still there. The new job gave me a 10% raise after thirty days. The company that I left has 8 fewer full time employees and at least four fewer part timers than when I left. They are circling the drain, some of my fiends tell me. Not my problem anymore.

Dear Edward Price,

Since the new boss is not a soft, cuddly mentor, but rather ‘get your butt in the field and do your work!’, I can only surmise that you have been working at the CIA, not with the intent of doing what is right for America, but doing what you would until it is your day to retire, without your butt leaving D.C., at all, and without one incident of hazard.
