Breitbart Employees Threaten Walk-Out Over Milo

All is not well at Breitbart News.

A senior editor at the right-wing publication tells Washingtonian that “at least a half-dozen” employees are prepared to leave the company if Milo Yiannopoulos is not promptly fired. A second Breitbart source confirms this estimate.

Yiannopoulos, himself a senior editor at Breitbart, was booted from his speaking slot at this week’s Conservative Political Action Convention (CPAC), following taped revelations in which he appears to endorse pedophilia.

I actually agree with Milo’s statement, technically speaking.

It is pedophilia when the attraction is to pre-pubescent people. That violates our society’s “norms”, which are just a cultural thing. I’ve felt for a long time that criminals should be tried as adults once they reach the age of around 12.

The Christian Bible is silent (to the best of my knowledge) on when one becomes a “woman” or “man”. I believe Jewish law does draw a line at something around 12, but I could be wrong.

If the statement you quoted is what all the fuss is about, regarding Milo, I retract my condemnation of him.

And to be really clear, I’m talking “technically”. Personally, I was divorced at 43 and when I tried to date a 27 year old I felt like I was dating a kid. I ended up marrying the woman of my dreams 19 years ago. She’s six days younger than me.

Milo is an easy target because many have not heard his interviews and his actual views on things. He often says he's a homophobe and he's serious. He's also argued against forcing any church to recognize "gay marriage". Anyone who has actually heard him knows this is a hit job.

Who shot Milo? I think the honest answer is Milo shot himself. But why not blame those conservatives who think Milo’s act isn’t conservative. Yeah, I get it that many like him because he exposes and upsets the Left, but we stand for more than that.
