Trump Lawyer Confirms Meeting Ukrainian, Denies Carrying Peace Plan
NBC (Nothing But Communists) News ^ | February 20, 2017 | Ken Dilanian, Fake News Bureau

President Donald Trump's personal lawyer has acknowledged to NBC News that he met privately in New York last month with a controversial Russian-born Trump associate and a member of Ukraine's parliament, but disputes a New York Times report that the men gave him a peace plan for Ukraine that he delivered to then-National Security Adviser Mike Flynn.

The episode is drawing scrutiny because of the intense interest in any dealings by Trump associates having to do with Russia or Russia-related issues.

The Times reported that the meeting was called to discuss a peace plan being pushed by a Ukrainian lawmaker, Andrey Artemenko, who is associated with a former Ukrainian leader backed by Russian president Vladimir Putin and advised by Paul Manafort, Trump's former campaign chairman.

Amazing, isn’t it? Whenever one finds someone pulling some sort of a behind-the-scenes globalist maneuver, it’s better than a 50-50 chance that he answers to a patronym.

If I read this correctly, it’s after they took office? Even if before it seems to amount to nothing.

I would be happy with an investigation of Trump’s contacts with Ukraine, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and China. Lets get to the bottom of it.

As long as they also look at Obama, Clinton, McCain, the Bushes (Carlyle Group anyone?) McConnell, Podesta, Biden... lets get it all out there. Lets put all our cards on the table.

Most of the crap that’s been coming out is crap.
But this one is different. It doesn’t feel right.
Mostly because of Felix Sater.

One thing all this indicates is that the more than ten week long lame duck period is entirely too long. It’s only natural that anyone, domestic or foreign, who has current and ongoing business with the US executive branch will want to deal with those who will be making the decisions in the future.

I see nothing wrong with these contacts, or even discussions about what future policies might be desirable. The incoming administration can’t take action until they are sworn in, but talking and planning does not equal some serious misstep.

Shorten the lame duck period to one month or less.

Better it be a peace plan than the plan for war that Sen. McCain, Sen. Graham, and others want to wage against the nation of Russia. It would be a great accomplishment to plant peace between Russia and Ukraine. I do not want American troops on the Russian border.

That time is supposed to be used to execute a peaceful transfer of power. But that was before the establishment political class decided that Americans can not be trusted to choose their own government. I blame the gope as much as I do dems.

I do not want American troops dying to enrich George Soros, the Saudis, or the EU.

One thing that never ceases to amaze me is no one, not even Trump has made the case that Obama should have deferred to the incoming administration the decision whether or not to sanction Russia over the alleged meddling in the campaign.

At the very least, Obama had a duty as part of he peaceful transfer of power to consult with then President Elect Trump before taking actions that would impact the incoming administrations foreign policy.

Like some of our other old traditions, I bet that long, ten week lame duck period has a lot to do with travel times between various points by horse and buggy. I'm not certain, but I think the transition time in the UK and some other parliamentary systems is very short.

But ten weeks is too long now. It gives the outgoing administration too much time to make mischief and it puts too many things on hold until the new administration takes over.
