Laura Ingraham, Carly Fiorina Poll Dead Even In Virgina Senate Race (GOPe vs Populist Primary)

Former presidential candidate Carly Fiorina and national radio host Laura Ingraham are polling dead even in the Virginia Senate race, according to a Quinnipiac poll released Friday.

The two would face off in a Republican Primary before challenging Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine, who recently concluded his bid for vice president under Hillary Clinton. Both Fiorina and Ingraham are polling at 36 percent in a head-to-head against Kaine.

Kaine fared better over Fiorina, earning 57 percent compared to her 36 percent, one percent better than he fared against Ingraham. Kaine earned 56 percent against the conservative radio host.

Neither woman was able to secure the female vote, each trailed Kaine by 23 percent.

There is a certain similarity to how Virginia voters see Republican officials and potential GOP candidates these days. As was evident in the Quinnipiac University poll earlier this week that showed the Democratic candidates for governor were running better than their Republican counterparts, the same pattern holds true for President Donald Trump’s job approval and for an early look at Sen. Tim Kaine’s reelection prospects,” Assistant Director of the poll Peter A. Brown wrote in a statement.

Kaine benefits from a relatively high approval rating. Fifty-seven percent of all voters support Kaine’s record in the Senate, and 37 percent disapprove. Ingraham only earned a 27 percent approval rating, and Fiorina was slightly higher with a 32 percent approval rating.

Carly would get smoked by Laura.

So why isn’t Carly viable running in California? Why does she have to run in Virginia?

Hmm, did her immigrant-loving globalist policies make the state unwinnable for a Republican?

Between the two, Fiorina is no help to our side, nor to Trump.

Maybe by the time the election comes around, all the moving vans going into Northern VA to haul away the belongings of the “Trump Displaced” former government workers will have succeeded in moving all of them to other states where it’s cheaper to live now that they are unemployed!

I would take Laura any day over Carly. Last I saw Carly was anti Trump.

Fiorina? Hasn’t she had enough of politics? Guess not. She should stick her big noze somewhere else.

Fiorina has failed at everything she has done. She is a snot-nosed stupid loser.

No republican is going to defeat Kaine. Virginia has proven this past election it is now a deep blue state.

We probably have not heard the last of iCarly, but we did not expect to see the reruns quite so quickly.

Laura Ingraham carries a LITTLE less baggage than iCarly.

this is a gut hunch, but Laura might be the female Trump. (with less social uproar) she is hilarious when commenting on social events in the culture!

Somehow Laura is not “female” enough for the leftist female-loving females of VA.

“They are both extreme moderates.”

I don’t know where Ingraham stands on every issue, but I do know she was a big backer of Dave Brat (one of the most conservative guys in the House) over Eric Cantor, and Ingraham has also backed several other border security candidates against establishment opponents.

She would be much better than Fiorina and light years ahead of Kaine.

this is a gut hunch, but Laura might be the female Trump.

I've thought more than once or twice in recent months that Laura might aspire to be the first woman president. The senate is a logical first step.
