Millennials are very susceptible to a British accent, I’ve noticed this with my niece and her friends. I suppose various television shows such as Dr. Who combined with several very popular YouTubers have something to do with this. Then, there’s the difficulty posed by assailing a member of a “protected class” even though he himself rejects it. He can say a lot of things without the automatic discrediting that comes with being a white male otherwise. British, Jewish, Catholic, Gay, has a black boyfriend, that’s about as close to inoculated as anyone can get and be biologically male.
