Mec-gar also makes CZ mags at a fraction of the cost of those by CZ. One of the only downsides to owning a CZ pistol is the high cost of OEM mags. I have a couple CZ rifles. 17M2 and 7.62x39. Both bolt action. Both have expensive CZ mags. The 17M2 was idle for a few years for want of ammo. The 7.62x39 is a great little rifle. Light and accurate.
Springfield Armory went straight to MecGar for the special magazines in the EMP series of 1911 pistols. They are smaller than standard 1911.
