You mean the post-convention primary in Arizona that was not followed at all by the media. I think we were all in favor of Kelli Ward.

Now may I ask you a question?

What do you think of Trump’s conservatism?

I know you thought Cruz was more conservative. So did I, actually. I just didn’t think he could beat Hillary. I thought Trump could.

I now think that Trump really was a conservative.

I see Trump more as an Anti-Liberal, than a conservative. I don’t necessarily see him as a classical conservative thinker, but more of a person who knows the traditional liberal approaches will not work.

And for me, right now, that’s good enough.

The day Trump was our nominee Rush came aboard and did so 100%. That let everyone know that even though he had erred he was and always will be a strong conservative and will support whomever is more conservative than who is not.

Agree totally rod! And as you remember, I was blowing daily head gaskets on the Rush threads :-P. Glad I came to my senses, and glad Rush got fully on board. Rush is a great advocate for Trump!

BTW, hope you’ve been well!

God Bless!

Thomas So well took a long time to come around, too, but I can’t throw him out.

(Cruz)...we will be voting for his re-election in the Primary

He needs official proof of citizenship.

(CRBA, naturalization papers)

I was down on Rush after he took sides and was shilling for Cruz.It was all to obvious and out of character for him.As I said at the time it was not so much that he picked Cruz it was that he picked “anyone” at all during the primaries. We expected him to e fair and balanced yet he wasn’t for a short, short time.
Showed he’s human.

The day Trump was our nominee Rush came aboard and did so 100%. That let everyone know that even though he had erred he was and always will be a strong conservative and will support whomever is more conservative than who is not.
...
I was furious and for weeks refused to turn on Rush.

He is worth having more than not having...do I totally trust him? Not quite, but I do listen.

I forgive but won’t forget, and am no longer naive.

Last August was the PRIMARY in Arizona, the primary who almost all on this thread ignored.

Not me - I have been posting how badly we as a state need to dump him for years now. I supported JD Hayworth in 2010 and had a yard sign for JD - even my own family laughed at me.

Dr. Kelli Ward put up a good fight against this old buffoon in 2016 and I sincerely hope she can garner enough support to dump that Flaky Flake in 2018.

......Trump is very much like Rush in his ability to speak for the silent majority.

Something neither McStain or Mittens could do.

the legislative branch writes laws after significant debate and majority votes, the executive branch signs the law into law and executes the existing laws

Executive orders are not able to create law, but rather issue directives to the departments of the executive branch. The President is CEO of the executive branch.

Of course, he would have a lot less power, with far fewer departments (filled with bureaucRATs) exercising control over us.

I think Rush had Chris Wallace a tiny bit cowed. He acted like he was almost afraid to do his usual constant interrupting.

Only Rush could do that.

The MSM has the thinnest skin of all.

IMHO we should start referring to them as the OSM (Old Stream Media) and DJT begins to thin the heard!

As I watched the Rush interview I couldn’t help but marvel at the debt our nation owes to Rush Limbaugh. Rush Limbaugh invented alternative media. Rush Limbaugh broke the Leftist media monopoly. Rush Limbaugh made it acceptable to publicly speak the truth.

God bless Rush Limbaugh.

Something neither McStain or Mittens could do.

Because THEY were playing a game, the Game of Politics. Their opinions were scripted for them.

Jeff you are entitled to your opinion. Rush cannot take any credit for the election of President Trump. I would give ‘Diamond and Silk’ far more credit in the election of President Trump, than anything Rush did or said. I am not over the accolades for ‘full throated’ conservative Marco Polo.

For sure. Limbaugh has a penchant for making the difficult, or complicated topics easy to understand. It’s what really good broadcasters achiever after a million years. He does it better than anyone else on the air over and over.

That skill is probably the BEST skill in ALL fields, not just in broadcasting. Trump has it, too--in spades.
