McCain On Explosive Trump Dossier: 'The Russians Do Use Women And Sex' (Barf)
TPM ^ | February 18, 2017 | By Matt Shuham

Posted on 02/18/2017 9:40:21 PM PST by Brad from Tennessee

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said in an interview published Saturday that he takes Russian meddling in the 2016 election “more seriously than a physical attack.”

He also said that he "didn’t know what to make" of an explosive, and still largely unsubstantiated, dossier which alleged the Russian government had compromising information on President Donald Trump.

In a cover story for New York magazine published online Saturday, McCain projected a hawkish stance on Russia and said Russian interference in the American election had risked undermining “the foundation of democracy.”

“The severity of this issue, the gravity of it, is so consequential because if you succeed in corrupting an election, then you’ve destroyed the foundation of democracy,” McCain told the publication. “So I view it with the utmost seriousness. I view it more seriously than a physical attack. I view it more seriously than Orlando, or San Bernardino."

McCain also said the Trump administration still had questions to answer about the circumstances surrounding former national security adviser Michael Flynn's ouster, which he called a sign of "dysfunction."

“When did Flynn know about anything to do with Russian interference?” he asked. “Why was there a gap of X number of days between the president being told and no action taken? What is the extent of the relationship between Flynn and the Russians?”

And, referring to the now-public (and still largely unsubstantiated) “dossier” on Trump, which alleged among other things that the Russian government could have compromising information on the President, McCain did not dismiss it out-of-hand.

“I didn’t know what to make of it, but everyone knows the Russians do use women and sex when people go to Russia,” he said. “It’s an old KGB honeypot. . ."

“Trump should Ignore him....”

I agree 100%! McCain is an attention whore...don’t feed his ego by acknowledging his pathetic utterances.

John McCain is bordering on treason these days. He and Lindsey Graham have self appointed themselves as a shadow government to the Trump presidency. McCain’s life is now based on hatred of Trump, and he will be a thorn in the side of our President throughout the next 4-8 years, if McCain lasts that long. Unfortunately, McCain’s mother is alive, kicking, and 101 years old. Does not bode well for McCain leaving this mortal coil anytime soon. We’re stuck with McCain, just like we are stuck with Pope Francis, I’m afraid.

When McCain comes on TV, I have nothing but feelings of revulsion about him (and Lindsey). A gruesome twosome. Both extremely bitter neo-Con men who are trying to lead our country into a major confrontation with Russia. Such danger. They are totally undermining Trump’s attempts at detente with Putin in order to try to minimize one major front of potential aggression in this dangerous world we live in.

McCain will be continually stirring the pot as he is a hater by nature, of Trump who actually became President, whereas McCain failed to do so. Jealousy raises its ugly head. McCain is a small man, both physically and literally.

Senile paranoia. The Russians hacked Hillary and the DemocRATS not the Republcans or Trump.

This is what has me concerned also. The rally yesterday had a distinct feel of combativeness. President Trump seemed upset. It was hastily called. Melania seemed very subdued. Started with the Lords Prayer. That surprised the President. My wife said, he had a tear in his eye.

I am a worrier by nature. I hope and pray its just my usual worry wart nature.

Yes, the Russians use women and sex. So?

1. The claims about President Trump were absurd and not in keeping with our previous knowledge of Trump’s indiscretions. The idea of a strong man who likes strong women choosing the bathroom games portrayed in the dossier is absurd.

2. Trump is largely inoculated against normal sex scandals. We already know he cheated on previous wives, so any harm from even a believable allegation would be very limited.

Note: I am thrilled beyond words with President Trump’s performance so far, but the evidence that he has at some point in the past not been entirely monogamous is overwhelming. I see no reason not to accept and admit that fact.

McCain, the Hanoi “songbird”, should be thoroughly investigated by the AG, FBI, et al.

He goes to other countries and bashes the US. He’s visited with Al Baghdadi and other terrorists. He and his little buddies Graham and Rubio are constantly pushing the anti-Russia button.

I think his constant BS is to try and cover his real actions.

When did this interview take place? It seems McCain is as yet unaware the FBI has said there was NO wrongdoing by Flynn. Once that is acknowledged there can be no further questions abut Flynn, none at all.

As for the alleged “interference” by the Russians? Who knows but as far as that goes Obama has interfered on multiple occasions in the affairs of other countries such as the UK (Brexit) and Israel.

Seems as if this is a deliberate attempt, using fake news to stir up controversy.

‘The Russians Do Use Women And Sex’ (Barf)”

Intelligence services have FOREVER used what is referred too as the “Honey Trap” to co-opt their targets and set them up for blackmail.

McCain says this as if it was some sort of a revelation and done only by the Russians.

Being as a Redditor has already provided proof he wrote the Trump encounter in Moscow as Fan Fiction, Mr. McCain, I suggest you adjust your dribble cup and eat your oatmeal.

That's what you should make of it.

McCain doesn’t need Russian women. He’s got Lindsey,

Except for the fact that he is in a position of influence, I would feel sorry for the crazy old bastard - as it is, his insanity is a threat.

This is a recording of Graham getting pranked into thinking he's talking to the PM of Ukraine. There's another one for McCain talking about giving them lethal weapons to fight Russia. Basically, acting as foreign agents.
