Jeff Sessions' team takes over Washington
CNN ^ | 02/17/2017 | Tal Kopan

With the ascension of former Sen. Jeff Sessions to attorney general and several of his former staff installed at the White House and federal agencies, immigration policy experts are sensing a sea change in Washington.

Advocates and policy staff of both parties half-jokingly refer to the "Sessions cabal" that has now found power in President Donald Trump's Washington -- a group that for years has found itself outside the mainstream on immigration policy in Washington and faced ire from their Republican and Democratic colleagues for what one sparring partner called "strident" positions.

“Well what’s the hold up on the Hillery prosecution?”

You build up the case before hitting the ‘top dog’ - find witnesses willing to cooperate, etc.

In any case, no hurry - he’ll get there. I’m MUCH MORE interested in the lower level types that carried our her wishes, while knowing they were illegal. Top-dog politicians will ALWAYS push limits - but cannot actually do anything on their own. They need the lower-level types to carry out orders.

What happened with Bush is that he simply REFUSED to prosecute the lower-level types that did that for Bill Clinton...so when Obama came in, none of these people feared prosecution...and so they figured that they could get away with much more, to the point of Clinton’s IT guy simply refusing to testify in front of Congress, AFTER BEING SUBPOENAD TWICE...now that guy has been referred to Session for prosecution. It is when those people are sent off to jail that lower-level people will learn why they must behave, or at least follow the law.

“I’ve said this all along. Anyone who followed DJT’s campaign closely knows how important Session and his team are for framing and implementing Trump policies. “

NO KIDDING!!! Sessions was my TOP GUY to get in there, #2 was Betsy, and #3 was Pruitt. All are now in place, and the swamp draining is beginning.

Also, hat tip to Tillerson...I didn’t realize how bad Deep-State was, but he is CLEANING HOUSE there too!!!

This is GLORIOUS!!!!

-—I’m MUCH MORE interested in the lower level types-—

The squeeze on these folks will be delicious in it’s execution. Once it starts, there will be chaos. There will be prestitute torture and agony on an unprecedented scale. The fear among illegals will be trivialized by the fear among the Democrat criminals.

We need to be accepting MILLIONS of refuges!

The ones I speak of are Christian Europeans fleeing the mass hordes of military-age ME refugees all over Europe.

These poor people need a new homeland....I offer up the USA to these well-educated, law-abiding folks :-)

It would piss off the left mightily... a huge bonus IMO.

What you’re talking about is a cabal of staffers, none of whom are elected, who have absolute power,” the advocate said anonymously in order to speak freely. “It’s profoundly concerning because these are a bunch of people who clearly couldn’t have cared less about bipartisan consensus, and they have what I consider an extreme ideological view and have now been empowered to enact that view.”

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Which was ABSOLUTELY FINE with CNN and every other liberal, when DEMOCRATS did it. HYPOCRITES!!!!

Oh, give me a break! The Attorney General, now, will be one who finally sees that the power is decidedly NOT invested in him but in the US Constitution. For the first time in at least 8 years, possibly longer. Dems think this way because that is how they think the Attorney General should act. Sessions is the one who actually sees himself restrained by the law.
