The Senate Public Affairs Committee voted 4-2 on Friday to move the bill that would prohibit New Mexico police departments or sheriff’s offices from cooperating with federal agents in deporting immigrants suspected of living in the country illegally

Let see now, The LEOs have sworn to uphold the constitution and the laws. Now the senate is passing a new law that they are prohibited from upholding the constitution and enforcing certain laws.

So whichever way they turn they are breaking the law and their oath.

Btw, the Catholic church is doing the illegal aliens no favor by trying to “protect” them while they’re here illegally. They’d do them much more of a service by working to improve their situation in their native lands.

I would argue that the Church does a disservice to all immigrants by taking such a stance -- because actively protecting illegal, criminal, and radicalized immigrants stirs odium among citizens toward all immigrants.

Call out the National Guard. It’s about time.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’m against sending in the N.G. Instead deploy the Regular Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard.
Navy and Air Force in the air, Army and Marines on the ground and the Coast Guard on the Rio Grande.
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/sep/24/catholic-church-collects-16-billion-in-us-contract/
“Catholic Church collects $1.6 billion in U.S. contracts, grants since 2012”
These bishops are not funding illegals on their own dime, they have a direct deposit from we tax payers. I suspect some of the other denominations too, are being funded for their illegal charities. President Trump needs to end this redistribution of our tax dollars.
When did Catholic Bishops/Popes decide to stop focusing on saving souls and become left wing political activists?
You bet it’s a war, against illegal alien lawbreakers and their accomplices.
