Reporter was recorded during confrontation with Omarosa: 'This is freaking Nixonian'

Omarosa Manigault, a top adviser to President Trump, said she has a recording of a recent contentious exchange with a White House reporter.

April Ryan, a veteran White House correspondent for American Urban Radio Networks (AURN) told The Washington Post she was “physically intimidated” by Manigault after an exchange last week.

"She stood right in my face like she was going to hit me,” Ryan told the newspaper. “I said, 'You better back up.' "

Now, Manigault says she has a recording of the dispute that was also shared with some other reporters, according to the Post.

Ryan said she did not know she was being recorded during the incident. “I didn’t know she was taping it,” she said. “This is about her trying to smear my name. This is freaking Nixonian.”

Manigault told the Post that the White House press staff records interviews with reporters "all the time." “When you come into (the press staff’s offices), you’re on the record," she said.

The apprentice show she screwed up happened years ago and from what I understand, she became a minister which means she probably reformed her crazy girl race thing.

No way Trump would have her around if she had not reformed. He may have helped her heal. I sure hope he does not have her around if she is still evil.

According to the few Post people who have actually heard it, they said, reluctantly, that the recording showed in no way was Ryan correct. They would bend their left arm backward if they could hurt Trump in the process, and they had no choice but to admit that Amarosa was nothing but professional. She wasn’t backing down, but wasn’t insulting and demeaning as claimed.

Stop with the blatant slams on an administration person who has, since being in office, shown none of the abusive side you saw on the Apprentice. Frankly, I didn’t watch the show. But, what I’ve seen of her is a respectful black woman who is strong and not willing to back down from a fight. But, she’s also a professional.

When she ACTUALLY does something wrong, THEN you can scream to the heavens that she was a problem. Until then, in the some 40 replies on this thread, you’ve posted nearly 20 of them, and all negative. Without one shred of proof that she’s actually in the wrong here. And worse, has recordings showing she’s not the wrong party here.
