Christie should be Press Secretary. He would slaughter the Media.

Hey, Pepsi guy, Christie is no Reagan, but he’s outnumbered by unions, Corey Booker politicians, illegals, & liberals in general. There is not a paper save maybe the NY Post that has a good word about him. He’s been harassed by never-ending Bridgegate that no one would sneeze at if a democrat did it. The fact that he’s a republican who defied the teachers and lived to back Trump in third-world Trenton is a shock in itself.

You want to blame gas on him alone? He’s where GHWB was when dems checked him with no public nor republican support. When Sandy hit, he delt with the devil, as even Churchhill would...yeah, he’s no Churchhill either.

When a dem governor gets in, you will move, because then we’ll be taxed out of job, school, home, & safety.

A luncheon meeting with Chris Christie could still be going on.

I understand the hate for CC but he truth is Trump has no allies except for the people who elected him (these people have zero power in government). He has few people he can rely on and trust. Christie supported him when he didn’t have to. No o e expected him to. I would be ok if he were used by Trump to get his agenda passed. I would trust him more than Pence and pribus if I were Trump. Flynn was someone who was all I. For Trump. When u have so few true allies it’s hard to k now why Trump really got rid of him. Don’t trust Pence!

Because Christie is rock solid and knows the ways of this new era of byzantine political assassinations by subterfuge and spycraft. New Jersey is the heart of hell; Christie knows something of how to defend and counterattack.

Drug czar?

He vetoed more bills than any recent NJ governor (maybe ever). The state could (and probably will) do worse than Christie.

Damn straight. Christie has his faults but he is ready to fight the deepest corruption. I don’t know if he is suitable for a position but sometimes it’s the unlikely ones that turn out the best.

You want to blame gas on him alone? He’s where GHWB was when dems checked him with no public nor republican support. When Sandy hit, he delt with the devil, as even Churchhill would...yeah, he’s no Churchhill either.

He didn't veto it and whatever Churchillian advantage he got in return seems to be invisible and well hidden. So yes, I blame him.

As for him having no public support, he had a lot. Then he did nothing for years. It eroded. Then bridgegate happened and everyone figures he did it but he let his aides go to jail. It eroded more. Now he couldn't win a race for dog catcher. But that's all his own fault, if he had tried to press his advantages while he had them rather than going into hibernation maybe he'd actually have accomplished something ... anything ... in his governorship.

Why do some say not to trust Pence? Isn’t Trump smart enough to choose a trustworthy VP? what is it about him that some here are weary of?

NJ still has the lowest priced gas in the area.
Christie never had any legislative support.
Sweeney was always thwarting his plans.
The press still harps on a bridge lane closing. Something that happens every day around the state.
That being said CC was always all about cc.
I say he was the best NJ could get.
RE; we can’t elect any Rep senator.
Whitman was worse. Dems were crocked or swishy.....
