His departure came just after reports surfaced the Justice Department warned the Trump administration last month that Flynn misled administration officials regarding his communications with the Russian ambassador to the United States and was potentially vulnerable to blackmail by the Russians.

Russia put a roadblock in the Saudi backed effort to overthrow Syria’s government so the Gulf Arab energy resources could be piped into Europe at the expense of Russia energy exports there.

Did you ever stop to consider that perhaps Trump was angry with him over his presumptive actions, his self-aggrandizement, his lying and his self-serving disloyalty, and so asked for, received and accepted his resignation?
I very much doubt that. The man is a lifelong Democrat. And apparently deeply into self-promotion and his own sense of power. You can those just about anywhere.
