After the men’s lifestyle magazine stopped featuring nude pictorials in 2015, the nude shots are making a comeback with Playboy's March/April 2017 issue featuring topless Playmate Elizabeth Elam as Miss March 2017, along with the headline “Naked is normal.”
“I’ll be the first to admit that the way in which the magazine portrayed nudity was dated, but nudity was never the problem because nudity isn’t a problem,” Playboy’s Chief Creative Officer Cooper Hefner said in a statement. "Today we're taking our identity back and reclaiming who we are."

Yes, some were great. That's where I first read Gene Shepherd's short stories (A Christmas Story--yes that one). Also some fine stuff by Shel Silverstein.
Some may recall "Ribald Classics", which were off color (dirty) stories or poems from medieval literature. A Playboy subscription was delivered every month to the graduate school office where I worked. We discovered the reason was one of the senior professors in the department was writing/translating some of the "classics" for Playboy under a pseudonym.
Why would they when there's an unlimited amount free online? Low sales were what made them change it in the first place. It didn't help, and I doubt this will help either, especially with articles like "Van Jones, American Hero".

I’m surprised Playboy still is around. Reason being, there is so much pornography, esp. internet pornography, that anyone wanting that can find it elsewhere.
