Pastor Fred Morris looked out over his congregation Sunday as news ricocheted around the world that American authorities were rounding up immigrants in an enforcement surge that President Donald Trump promised on the campaign trail.
Parishioners did not smile as on any other Sunday morning. They stared down at their feet. Others didn’t attend at all.
“There is a dreadful sense of fear. It’s more than palpable. It’s radiating. People are terrified,” said Morris, whose United Methodist mission is in a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood of Los Angeles. “They were just sitting there in stunned silence.”

Americans are so done with being take advantage of and being forced to the BACK of the line in their own country.
It will take more than that. It will take employers of illegals being very afraid and it will take those who harbor illegals being very afraid too. After a few of these law breakers are sent to prison maybe there will be a reversal of direction in body flow at the border!
If they are not illegal aliens, then they don’t have to worry.

I get that they came here for work and a better life but they knew they were doing it wrong to start with and this day would eventually come. They got a pass for far too long. Time to go home and work on making their own countries better.
It never occurred to this Methodist pastor to tell the illegal aliens in his church that they were wrong in breaking the laws of this country and should seek citizenship the proper way? Some pastor he is.
I’m guessing “terrified” is a pretty common condition for most lawbreakers/criminals/thieves as the cops close in on them...

Article I saw yesterday said there were at least a couple of times that ICE rounded up 3-4000 in several day sweeps between 2012 and 2015
How about the Mexican oligarchy be forced to give up some of their moola and make Mexico a decent place to live for their ordinary citizens instead of expecting the American taxpayer to bear the cost?
Why would authorities be rounding up immigrants? By the definition of the law, an immigranti is here legally.
Oh, I get it. They're not rounding up immigrants. They're rounding up illegal aliens, who by definition are breaking the law by being here.
