PHOENIX—All but one of about 50 undocumented Mexican migrants at a meeting Saturday indicated they would rather risk detention and long court battles in the U.S. than return to Mexico voluntarily.
The majority of migrants at the meeting in Phoenix, which included Mexican officials, signaled in a show of hands that they were ready to fight deportation in U.S. courts.
“Even if that means detention for weeks?” asked former foreign minister Jorge Castaneda.
“Even if it takes months,” shouted one woman. “Even if it takes years,” another yelled. “We are here to fight.”

What Mexican, having lived in both countries, would NOT choose to live in detention here in the U.S. versus going back to a poverty stricken country? In detention they would be VERY WELL treated, fed and provided for. Yes, our immigration system needs an overhaul!
OK, let them stay and fight but not where they are. I hear that Kiska island is fine and would welcome some inhabitants help too. For public defenders, we can send the entire 9th circuit judges.
WHY should we put them in OUR jails and have to support them? We have been doing that for some time, lets send them back and keep them out...

Sure, as long as Mexico builds the jail and gives the USA the money (in advance - and then monthly thereafter) to feed and hire the personnel required to keep these illegal’s
off the streets.
Also make Mexico pay for the medical care for their citizens here. Why the hell should I have to psy for them through sky high insurance payments?
This reminded me of an old joke that I changed a little bit to reflect the times.
Three guys got stranded on an island. Two of the three were wimps and the other was a tough, strong guy.
One day, they met a tribe. The tribe chief told them that they could either have Death or Obunga.

In detention here they will have food and water and a warm. dry (and maybe safe) place to sleep given to them. Across the border they will be on their own to obtain any of these.
The irony is so many illegals waive Mexican flags and say they want to bring Mexico to America, until threatened with deportation; then Mexico is the last place they want to be. And now the Mexican government says they’re not welcome there. You couldn’t make this stuff up. Fortunately for them, their American supporters could think their way out of a phone booth!
They're not really rotting in jail; they're getting 3 hots and a cot without a work requirement. They are not free to leave but they're probably safer in detention than on the street.
Let's put 'em to work on the WALL; you wanna eat, you work. Don't wanna work? Ask your companeros who ARE working to share their supper with you.
Sounds like a great idea. Detain them until their deportation date. We can use Joe Arpaio type tent cities.

I don't see them quite that way. Most of them in my area work or want to work, and would be foolish to NOT take advantage of whatever public assistance is open to them. That's on US, our own rules coming back to bite us.
If we could just swap even by forcing Mexico (or other country of origin) to take one of our homegrown hoodrats, methheads or EBT "clients" for each of their willing workers who gets here...I'd make the trade!
Send them to Spain if they don't want to return to Mexico.
They should be right at home there.
Or how about some place in South America?
Every one I meet from there is always boasting about how
superior their countries are to America. Ever notice all
of those Mexican, El Salvadoran, Honduran and Brazilian flags
they put on the bumpers of their cars and hang from their review mirrors? They must be really longing to return to those places.
So let's send them there!!
