Davos Founder: World 'Identity Crisis' Driven by Globalization Has Led to Trump's Election, Brexit

World citizens are going through an "identity crisis," leading to some of the political upheaval seen across the globe, World Economic Forum (WEF) founder Klaus Schwab said on Sunday, addressing the rise of the anti-globalization sentiment.

The man behind the annual gathering of elites in the Swiss mountain retreat of Davos outlined why he believed that led to events such as the election of U.S. President Donald Trump and Britain's exit from the European Union.

Schwab said that globalization has created a "new economic equation" in which labor prices have fallen while those who have capital have benefited. He said the U.S. elections highlighted the "anger of people against globalization and against the elites which they feel have benefited."

This is his 'solution'

The WEF founder outlined how he thinks the current world identity crisis can be resolved:

The U.S. is seeing a "revolution against the system" so governments need to be rebuilt to put "human beings at the center"

Nationalism and globalization don't have to be contradictory and countries can have both a national and global identity. He said countries should not shy away from globalization

Humankind can actually use artificial intelligence to "humanize roboticization," but the world needs to move away from the "fear of the future" and embrace new technology

------------------

First paragraph = I have no f***ing clue what to do but this sounds pretty 'Davos-ish'

Second Paragraph = we could try to keep doing the same thing under different labels and hope no one notices . . . after all, I'm one of the biggest beneficiaries of this crap

Third Paragraph = if you think I was clueless in the first paragraph you've seen nothing yet . . .

National sovereignty destruction driven by unaccountable, war-mongering, international elitists/socialists/totalitarians. New liars for old. Criminals without borders.

$oro$ types.

Looks like the same old crisis we’ve had for millennia: civilization vs. barbarism, with a few more weasels willing to buy off the barbarians than usual, these days.

A big part of this “Identity Crisis” results from our continuing struggle with a really big question: Should we give up our heritage, our history, our religion, our culture, our very identity in order to enjoy the wonderful benefits of living under Sharia Law?

Decisions, decisions.

If terrorists, *or* Putin, or, well, really, *anybody* just nuked the Davos conference, the world would have an upsurge in peace and prosperity the likes of which have not been seen, since...forever.

Of course one can have Nationalism and a cross border socialist outlook. Just look at Germany in the 1930s.

In essence the UN AGENDA 21.
Personal Liberty is the crux of the matter. Those who know what it is...or was...are not willing to live in an unelected authoritarian society.

Globalization is nothing more than an avenue to make the rich...super rich. If y'all have noticed, all the sound bites thrown out to sell these big global trade deals were all big fat lies.
>NAFTA will create more jobs in the U.S.
>NAFTA will increase the standard of living for the avg. Mexican worker
>Doing the jobs Americans won't do.
>Americans want cheaper goods.
and on and on and on.

The truth? We witnessed the greatest transfer of wealth in world history from the American middle class to the communist Chinese and multinational corporate elites.

Notice all the wealth is being sucked to the top. Multi millionaires quickly became billionaires now multi billionaires all the while American workers struggle as they lose their jobs by the millions, benefits slashed, pay stagnant for over a decade. Many corporations were caught red handed using child slave labor..no consequences what so ever. Corporations working folks long hours for paltry pay and meager benefits if any at all. Polluting their environment...we've all seen the photos coming out of China. American corporations circumventing environmental/worker safety regulations here at home for little to no regs abroad. Shameful!

I certainly don't begrudge capitalism, it is the greatest economic engine the world has ever known. This is not capitalism. Globalism is a perverted form of socialism/capitalism.

Its pathetic to turn on my radio and hear the rage against Russia coming from Mark Levin.

Friday night he raged that the Russians were plotting with China and Pakistan to ‘kill’ American soldiers in Afghanistan.

The radio was turned somewhere else immediately.

Money is moving across borders to promote this message.

Saudi Arabia and Qatar want to export their energy to Europe through Syria. Their bid to overthrow Syria’s government with al-Qaeda jihadists failed because of Russia backing the Syrian government.

After the Ukraine revolt that overthrew the pro-Russian government (same money, people countries behind that I suspect) Russia responded by taking over Crimea and deploying a military force in Syria.

The globofascists can’t stand it when people don’t vote the way they like. How can they enslave us if we insist on being free?

We have come closer to the brink of slavery than most recognize. THANK GOD President Trump fought them on our behalf. It is long past time we freedom lovers stiffen our spines and support him through the hellfire the Globalists are planning. Our president has awakened the world. The upcoming elections in Europe will tell the tale. Brexit, Trump, ?????

It’s not about riches, these people are already super rich.

It’s about power and control over the populace.
