Smart move by a stupid person. CC has lived a life of privileged birth and has obtained high-paid jobs despite having zero talent solely as a means to curry favor with her parents and an expectation of a quid pro quo from them.
CC is nothing without her parent’s power, which is all but gone, and while a House seat in a safe district might be possible after elbowing out more qualified candidates, a Senate seat is nearly out of the question.
