Lena Dunham: Feminists Must Enlighten White Women Who Voted for Trump

Friday on ABC’s “The View,” actress Lena Dunham said being that “a part of feminism” is almost like “being a parent” and that the white women who voted for Donald Trump need to be enlightened “with the rhetoric of self-empowerment.”

Partial transcript as follows:

DUNHAM: I think it’s really important to remember that it is an incredible problem that 53% of women in this country — 53% of white women in this country voted for Donald Trump which means that they’re not only voting against the interests of their sisters, of women who may not look like them, who they may not understand but whose rights are just as important, but also remember that they are in that case voting against their own best interest. To me a part of feminism — it’s almost like being a parent to a teenager where they’re so mad at you, they think you’re such a piece of crap and you’re like, I know you hate me right now but the reason I’m doing this is because I love you and I want us all to be safe.

If I've learned nothing in the last 48 years, it's that women, in general (if I may generalize), don't like being told what to do, what to think, or what to believe in.

By anyone.

Yet the Left, and feminists, purport to speak for all women, know what's good for them, and how they should think and believe.

Now, I'm just a cussing spitting scratching mansplaining balding manly-man American citizen and patriot, so, I may not know anything about anything.

But, I believe, Lena et al, that real women still don't want anyone speaking for them, even, as you say, the:

And real American citizen women (in this instance and of any color), are more than capable of speaking for themselves and looking out for their best interests.

Lena reminds me of that girl in high school that half the guys had banged.

You just had to remind me, of an incident in high school. I was parked across the street from my High School, minding my own business in my Chevy coupe. We had an open campus, no fence, we could freely walk or drive the surrounding area during lunch. This gal looked just like Lena, and was the campus whore. I kept away from her. But one day she opens my car door and climbs in and starts coming on to me, and I had to practically fight her to kick her out of my car. One of my girl friends started laughing hysterically and I got embarrassed in front of other friends. Yes, the slut looked just like Lena Dunham.
