WASHINGTON (Reuters) - In his first call as president with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump denounced a treaty that caps U.S. and Russian deployment of nuclear warheads as a bad deal for the United States, according to two U.S. officials and one former U.S. official with knowledge of the call.

When Putin raised the possibility of extending the 2010 treaty, known as New START, Trump paused to ask his aides in an aside what the treaty was, these sources said.

Trump then told Putin the treaty was one of several bad deals negotiated by the Obama administration, saying that New START favored Russia. ...”

Save that junk for someone else. Cruz is a top notch patriot. But this isn’t about him.

Don’t forget . . . according to the Russians, the Cold War is over. But they are fighting Nazis in Ukraine . . . making for an interesting scenario . . . the Cold War might be over, but clearly World War II is not.

It seems like the leaks would be easy to find. There are only a few people with direct knowledge, there to take notes.

You can’t be serious! We must redouble our efforts so that Ted Cruz does not get the Republican nomination in 2016!

Yep Curz is a top notch patriot that lies constantly, doesn’t bother to help our side beat Clinton, and starts shooting his mouth off when it’s his re-election on the line.

We need far less top notch patriots of this sort.

At least Trump, while calling Putin a “killer”, agreed that there have been “killers” on our side!!

By "our" side, what do you mean, Russia's? Anyway, Putin has civilians murdered. Journalists, people who speak out against him, political foes, former KGB/FSB colleagues who've spilled the beans on his secret plots.

Re: Nearly two-thirds of Navy planes grounded due to years of budget cuts

“The Trump administration is now making an effort to boost military spending. The Pentagon recently delivered a $30 billion spending bill to Congress to help rebuild the armed forces.

Also this week, vice chiefs from the Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps will testify before both the House and Senate’s Armed Services Committee.”

Thank you for the post. I am very glad we have a man in there who understands the need for a top rate military.

It’s shameful what Obama did to our military.

Oh, yes you are. Having had his father accused of killing JFK, you are whining that Cruz took 1.1 days to do whatever it is that has your goat. It's laughable.

RudeSchmuck, let me explain it his way since you don’t have the tools to do it yourself.

If Tead is a patriot’s patriot, then all Conservatives should have done what he did. They should have avoided supporting Trump and even refused to say his name at events.

After all that’s what patriot’s patriots do.

Who cares if Hillary would have gotten elected. The patriot’s patriot didn’t.

Now that Ted is running for office, he polishes his own knob daily in public to look like he’s such a stalwart Conservative.

Sorry, not matter how much they hate someone, they don’t sell the nation out. Ted could have avoided Trump and talked down Hillary daily.

He didn’t bother. Tead has no friends because he is a barren wasteland personality wise. He can’t think in social terms. He just doesn’t get it that you can’t take a pass on defeating Hillary.

His followers are just as ignorant on that matter as he is.

Hey, since you have a pretty good idea how many days and hours it took, do you know how many seconds? I need to make an informed decision.

Well, some nimrod is clutching his pearls about how long it took Cruz to endorse Trump. I just need to know exactly how long it took.

Look it up.

You seem to have a fixation on my pearls. If you have any questions about them, I’d rather you not ask.

Senator Cruz had been dead-on correct about Russia, Putin, and the bad deals Obama (purposely) made with them on missile defense and nukes before Trump was the nominee.
