Los Angeles (AFP) - An appeals court weighing whether to reinstate President Donald Trump's executive order closing US borders to refugees and nationals from seven Muslim-majority countries said it did not plan to hand down its ruling on Wednesday.
"The court will not be issuing a decision today," said David Madden, spokesman for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco, adding that an advance notice of 30 to 90 minutes would be given when a decision is imminent.
A panel of three judges held a contentious hearing in the matter on Tuesday, with the lawyer representing the Trump administration insisting the controversial ban was justified for national security reasons.

I tend to see this as good news. I wonder if Trump threw them a curve ball by reading the plain language of the statute on television?
A single person or very small group of people can overrule the wishes of tens of millions of Americans and even the president and legislative branch. Judges have way too much power.
Democrats knew and know this. So, when the Supremes retire, we should be willing to fight to replace them with conservatives to balance the flood liberal judges appointed during Obama’s terms.
This court’s decision is already known to all of us.

They are just writing their opinions, with the Bush judge either dissenting or trying to get agreement on keeping out new applicants who have never been here before.

SCOTUS has Original jurisdiction of this case. Trump and his team are just about as lost on law as most of USGov.
