Michael Savage cautions Trump about inner circle
WND ^ | Feb. 2 2017

He’s been dubbed “the Godfather of Trumpmania,” but Michael Savage noted on his nationally syndicated radio show Thursday that he also promised he would hold Donald Trump accountable if the real estate billionaire became president.

Savage said he’s concerned that Trump’s inner circle is causing him to move too fast, leading to costly mistakes, such as the raid on al-Qaida in Yemen, initially planned under Obama, that resulted in the deaths of a Navy SEAL and civilians.

I thought he was an anti-Trumper...

And that whole thing about ‘holding Trump accountable’? That’s a democrat talking point - right up there with ‘chaos’...

It’s been fun watching all the Presidential (Obama) butt kissers in the MSM turn on a dime and switch to ‘holding the President accountable’... What fakes.

More winning. lol.

I don't know much about Savage directly (only heard parts of a few 'shows') but from what I gather you'd not be missing much not tuning into that one (along with a short list of others I can think of).

I can say that a few of the breakfast-time waitresses at a waterfront restaurant in Sausalito most assuredly did not like Savage. They groaned and shook their heads, anyway.

I was with a few other guys there, having taken a 50' commercial fishing boat to haul out (bottom paint, some upper hull paint-work). It's been more than a few years ago now. Maybe 8 years or so. I think the boatyard has changed ownership since then...

Would love to know who Savage works for. He’s a fake conservative.

Your post elicits the following paraphrasal of Heinlein, from me:

“My God, it’s good to talk to a sensible man.”

Listening to Savage is like walking on a mine field. You never know when it’s going to go off.

He’s as inconsistent and unpredictable as a mine field - one minute Trump is the best thing to happen to this country, ten minutes later he escoriates him.

He’s unstable as they come.

Kellyanne has reportedly been on the side of Trump going more slowly.

Agreed. Weiner is like most talk host types—and that includes Rush and Levin #1 an 2—always inflating their impact and importance.

Hannity IMO is the talk show host who, with his 20 hours a week, crossing radio and TV, was most positively influential on Trump’s behalf.

That explains 90% of it - the other 10% is that he’s nuts.

Kellyanne was leading conservatives at the Heritage Foundation’s “Third Generation” lecture series (along with Dinesh D’Souza) in the mid-1990’s. She was sharp as a Bowie knife and a very effective leader.

Looks like Savage is off his game, as usual. DC radio dropped him for a good local guy, Larry O’Connor.

PS: I knew both Dinesh and Kellyanne back in the good old days. They were always friendly and would talk to us the peasants (though Russ Mann, a WW2 vet (Philippines campaign) and myself, Nam journalist, were more like the 1st and 2nd Generation guys).

Savage always does this. He fancies himself as some kind of cynical renegade. I’ve stopped listening to him.

Savage ping!

” raid on al-Qaida in Yemen, initially planned under Obama”

well. there is why the raid did not succeed as well as it should have. Pres. Trump should have had his own people plan a raid.

That SEAL is on Obama cause he planned it.

Not so much because he planned it but because of the great possibility one of his remaining minions leaked the plan to the enemy.

trashing our president

It is well not to confuse constructive criticism with trashing.

Kellyanne was leading conservatives at the Heritage Foundation’s “Third Generation” lecture series (along with Dinesh D’Souza) in the mid-1990’s. She was sharp as a Bowie knife and a very effective leader.

Remember also in the mid 90's when Kellyanne Fitzpatrick was often on Hannity pushing impeachment of Clinton. You could tell that the was intelligent, and unafraid to speak her mind.

Yet Savage thinks that she was a nobody until she took over the Trump campaign.

It took me until October of 2016 to finally be able to listen to Savage even for a few minutes. Now I hear him trash Kellyanne twice. Savage is unlistenable.

I hope that Trump asked the Leader of the team to evaluate the plan and the intelligence to give his assessment.

Myself, I an in favor of bombing them to hell regardless of collateral damage, I think we need to put out the word you aren’t going to be safe around terrorists.

The wife and I listen to Levin and Savage on podcast

Each have nuggets of information

but

Levin is rude and arrogant

The Savage Weiner is manic - depressive

I cant listen to Levin anymore but tune in to the Savage podcast as well.

My theory is that neither one of them was held as a baby, and Savage was probably dropped on his head.
