Last week Seattle Judge Robart claimed no-one had been arrested from the seven nations that are included in President Trump’s executive order. From the hearing:
• Judge Robart: “How many arrests have there been of foreign nationals for those seven countries since 9/11?” • DOJ Attorney Michelle Bennett: “Your Honor, I don’t have that information.” • Judge Robart: “Let me tell you… The answer to that is none, as best I can tell. So, I mean, you’re here arguing on behalf of someone [President Trump] that says: We have to protect the United States from these individuals coming from these countries, and there’s no support for that.”
Judge Robart is just factually wrong.

This is what happens when a refugee advocate is appointed to be a district judge. W certainly screwed up when he appointed this social worker to the bench and now Pres. Trump has to deal with W’s blunder. If any of these “refugees” turns out to be a terrorist, we will know who to blame. The fall-out will be fierce.
Question for Judge Robart. Do you know how many will be in this group?
I hope that’s not the only argument our government attorneys made. ISIS has often stated it’s intent to insert their terrorist fighters into the migrant flows into Europe and the US. And several recent migrants have already been implicated in some of the terrorist attacks in Europe.

I have my qualms about Bush’s appointments too but to be fair this guy was blue slipped by Patty Murray. She would be the one to blame.

I wonder has someone bluntly told this so-called Moron what the law is? This effeminate passive aggressive type sure needs to be confronted with it.
Not only that but he is arguing the case and entering facts which he admits to not knowing if they are true. He should be asked to recuse himself.
I think some court up the ladder will render a more sane decision on the matter.

The Senate Judiciary subcommittee on refugees compiled this information in a staff report last year. Surprised an attorney from DOJ didn’t have that with her.
