Mitch McConnell: Congress unlikely to step in if courts throw out Trump travel ban
CNN ^ | 02/05/2017 | By Eric Bradner

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said President Donald Trump isn't likely to get his travel ban implemented by Congress if courts strike it down.

"I don't know that that's necessary," McConnell told CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union" Sunday. "I mean, the courts are going to decide whether the executive order the President issued is valid or not, and we all follow court orders."

McConnell's comments come after a federal judge put a pause on Trump's order that barred citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries -- Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen -- from entering the US for 90 days, all refugees for 120 days and indefinitely halts refugees from Syria.

Trump lashed out at the "so-called judge," tweeting Saturday: "The opinion of this so-called judge, which essentially takes law-enforcement away from our country, is ridiculous and will be overturned!"

Mitch: "...and we all follow court orders."

Especially when you choose to forget you are a legislator.

Robart is ensuring that NOTHING STOP THE EXPANSION OF THE MUSLIM CALIPHATE.

Robart's ruling does have the stench of Illuminati/Soros all over it. Trump should order the NSA to look into Robart's phone communications, emails, bank accounts domestic and abroad for connections to globalist cabal bad actors.

I smell Soros emanating from Robart's robe. THIS DOES NOT SMELL RIGHT!

He should be threatening to repeal the monstrosity of the 1965 immigration act in its entirety, which is the source of an unending stream of immigrants.

But of course, the preferred MO of corrupt Senate RINO's is preemptive surrender.

If we we didn't have Paul "Cheap Labor Express" Ryan as Speaker, the House Republicans could look for pet Senatorial projects to defund in order coerce the gasbags in the Senate to get with the program.

“I mean, the courts are going to decide whether the executive order the President issued is valid or not, and we all follow court orders.”

WOW!! Hey idiot, it’s Congress that makes the laws not a judge somewhere. The judge is to rule based on the laws you make!

This level of stupidity or willful sabotage is beyond belief.

So our government no longer feels it has to follow and administer the very laws it passes?

Well there you have it. Constitution specifically assigns powers to regulate immigration to CONGRESS but the Senate majority leader admits that the Judicial branch is superior to the Legislative branch and he has to follow it's "orders" even if unconstitutional.

He could also order Customs and TSA to close the international terminals in California, Oregon, Washington, New York and Massachusetts.

Let's see how the tech oligarchs like not having their H1B pets being able to fly in.

He claimed that "congress follows the courts." That statement belies the constitution's provision allowing Congress to control the courts jurisdiction. Congress could in theory refuse the section eight courts any power to hear immigration matters.

Here's my prediction for this week:

1. Trump issues a new EO overriding his last one that accomplishes the same thing as the first one.

2. Trump withdraws the appeal to the 9th Circuit, on the grounds that the EO in dispute is no longer in effect anyway.

3. Judge Robart realizes he may spend the rest of his life ruling on tens of thousands of challenges to Trump EOs that are brought in his court, and announces he's turning in his bow tie and retiring to Nepal.

4. George Will publicly thanks Trump for finding a simpering sh!tbag who makes Will look more masculine than John Wayne.

Well Mitch, if we are going to let the courts legislate from the bench we don’t need congress. Think of all the money we could save

[[So let’s just leave it up to the federal judiciary to establish and implement immigration policy. Brilliant]]

So let’s just leave it up to the LIBERAL federal judiciary to establish and implement immigration policy. Brilliant

Fixed it- because the liberal judges are the only ones that the left will recognize- and of course the right being the rinos they are, will always ‘comply with the law’ which the liberals force by ignoring conservative judges and only lsitenign to liberal ones-

Then the next massacre of Americans by the Religion of Pieces is on you & the rest of the Uniparty, Mitch.

I'm in favor of feeding all of you to the future grieving relatives.

This is why we’re heading to dictatorship. Congress won’t do its job. Judicial won’t do anything to enforce the law. All that’s left is the army, unless the people take action first. And it will be the lunatics on the left that will do it. It’s all treason.

They’re trying to get Trump to seriously misstep the constitution by these rulings so they can impeach him. I hope someone in the WH has some oversight because Trump might do it.

Saw this previously. I was asking about Seattle Judge, Robarts.

Robarts is known to do pro bono work for illegals but need insider names who influenced Robarts to ignore clear jurisdiction restrictions. Then it’s conspiracy to violate law. Robarts will not be impeached in Seattle but he can be prosecuted in the months ahead if testimony is obtained of his conspiracy.

My post at 54 explains how this started with Schumer and his old family friend, Judge Ann Donnelly.

Now she let her order run out...and Robart shows up.

The most likely scenario is that she didn't want to lose her judgeship....doing a favor for Schumer...AND HILLARY. Remember, this is a Brooklyn judge...Hillary territory.

I found the other piece to the puzzle but can't find it...but did write down a quote

"US District Judge James Robart granted a temporary restraining order Friday at the request of Washington State and Minnesota that's effective nationwide".
