Jared may be technically an Orthodox Jew, but he doesn’t act like one. Contrary to what the article implies, he is no social conservative.
Kushner (and liberal Ivanka) reportedly pushed Trump to keep the LGBT “protections” for employees of federal contractors. In other words, the radical homosexual mafia gets its tentacles further into big government. Social conservatives are not happy with Jared Kushner.
Not really an issue vis a vis his religion. I don't think his father in law is a social conservative either, but he is the Republican President.
And Jared is conservative enough the left hates him and his wife.
How Could Modern Orthodox Judaism Produce Jared Kushner?
Of course most of the left hates anyone not in lockstep with them.
