Though I don't play golf, I follow it as the ultimate in reality TV, completely merit based. Most people in the golfing world are apolitical, at least publicly. They are all entrepreneurs and realize that they get much of their money from sponsors. They also admire Trump for what he has done for golf over the years rehabilitating golf courses around the world and supporting golf in general.
That being said, the 22 year PGA Tour commissioner, Tim Finchem, took away a really big tournament from Trump Doral in Miami soon after Trump announced his plan to run for president. (Mexicans are...). This was a tournament that had been held in Miami for decades.
Guess where it will be held now? Mexico! What an in-your-face deal. Finchem just happened to work in the Jimmy Carter White House for 2 years which shows you his political leanings. Now that Finchem has finally stepped down, his replacement will probably return to being almost completely non-political.
I agree HM! McConnell needs to keep the Senate is session as long as it takes to get through all the nominees. If the Dims want to stay up all night bloviating, let them lose sleep and look like the fools they are. Pubbies can take turns chairing the Senate during the boring Dim diatribes and the rest of the Pubbies can go to their offices or home to sleep.
Well, that will just about finish this state off.

Thanks for the info! Yes, Trump has done a lot for golf over the years. Didn’t know about the change - to Mexico of all places! Glad that guy is no longer head of the PGA!

Okay...just got off of the phone with Neiman’s.
They have NOT dropped Ivanka’s jewelry line. Her jewelry is only carried (per VENDOR agreement) in three of their stores, Oak Park, San Antonio and one other (I forgot).
They are NOT discontinuing sales of her jewelry at any of the three stores.
Rep said you cannot find online, because they only have at the three stores.
I suggested they post a statement about exactly what she (Rep) told me.

We did DISNEY WORLD with our children multiple times (before families had to take out a mortgage to go there.) Each time we visited, the park got more and more PC, especially with their highly touted GAY DAYS.
Loss of revenue may jolt DISNEY to re-embrace the wholesome themes that made it so popular. Now it is being used as a vehicle to deprave the minds of younger generations .

Republican GOV. RAUNER gleefully signed multiple LGBTQ and ABORTION bills into law since assumed office.
Before twitter, I noticed that false stories on the internet would be defended by the left for 2 to 3 days after which the lie would be too hard to keep going. The internet, however, was tired of covering it by then so most "google" searches would still come up with the dishonest stories.
Now with twitter, the retweets just accelerated the spread of the lies into minutes instead of days. These stories indicate at least a 1000 to 1 retweet of the fake news over the later correction.
President Trump was a one in a century, maybe lifetime, candidate with his ability to get through the dishonest media.
