In an effort to keep families safe, HEB (grocery store) is adding K-9 units to some of its parking lot patrols. The K-9 units have already been added to seven locations across the city. Step by step, officers with their K-9 can be seen making rounds and greeting customers. “They are here almost all the time every time we come shopping,” says Lori Garza, a customer. Over the last three months SAPD calls for service show two reports of car burglaries, several threats and disturbances at the HEB at the Alon, on Northwest Military.

Meanwhile HEB supports open borders that result in the need for K9 patrols to protect customers and employees from the recently arrived violent felons.

My buddy who was born and always lived in San Antonio says it’s paradise.

Always wondered why he moved house to get away from a certain ethnic group that had taken over his old neighborhood.

The FBI shot and killed a bank robber in the parking lot by Ralph’s near my house about 20 years ago.

“HEB is passing that expense on to all it’s customers.”

You can always shop at Randall’s or Whole Foods.

I don't want to drive two hours to get to a Randall's or Whole Foods. HEB is the only game in our town.

Best chain grocery store meat around here is at HEB.

Butcher counter actually has prime beef.

Not so much their produce.

This is what happens when you do not punish criminals that harm innocents. The stupidity of our leaders and know betters is mind numbing.

HEB seems to have almost a monopoly here for some reason. Except for Wal-Mart, you have to look far and wide to find alternatives, and those are either small or trendy/over-priced.

HEB is the only one to survive Walmart. My bride comparison shops between the two except for certain store brands where HEB wins hands down.
Their chili is one of the few canned goods I will eat.

Loved HEB when lived in SA. It was sometimes our Friday night date when we were on active duty and of modest means. Only problem was their fresh hot tortilla’s that added about ten pounds to my slim body at that time. Would have retired there except that we were becoming a racial and political minority.
