A federal judge in Seattle Friday struck down a week-old executive order that barred all refugees and travelers from seven Muslim-majority nations from entering the United States — a dramatic move that set the stage for a contentious battle between President Trump and the courts.

You’re right, but it does paint the left more openly as open borders, anti-rule of law. And he may be able to craft a new one once he gets Gorsuch approved. If there is a terror attack by someone who got in during that time in between, we will know who to blame.

“It’ll immediately go to Kennedy if they don’t do the right thing.”

This is interesting. This is Kennedy’s region? Unfortunately Kennedy has shown he is susceptible to MSM thinking.

Kennedy may be waiting for the actual written decision before deciding if he will stay the judge’s order. IMO, the judge is stalling for time to allow as many affected persons to enter. That his decree is “Nationwide” is puzzling as he is a District judge for the 9th Court and his ruling should have only been targeted at those states that fall under the 9th’s jurisdiction. The following link gives a quick overview of the Federal court system.

I thought potus would ignore this lawless order. The judge has no ability to rule on issues of national security. He is not privy to intelligence and is obviously ruling beyond the scope of a federal judge. Is potus afraid of getting impeached if he defies order? Something is very strange here.

“They want a civil war...that’s how you get a civil war...”
They will lose and lose badly.
Now that you mention it, maybe now the time has finally come to rid ourselves of this insane azzholes. We cannot co-exist with em...we’ve tried and it just gets worse and worse. We’re sitting on a powder keg right now. It wouldn’t take much for the “silent majority” to say; “enough is enough”; and light their azzes up...once and for all.

“How did Trump choose to ignore the judge. White House is appealing his decision”

At this moment the EO not being applied, period. So now Trumps EO is in the hands of the 9th Circuit. The most overruled court in the system. I hope you are right and they don’t uphold but they are called the 9th circus for a reason and with the SC at 4/4 the 9th will decide this. Great. So Trump should have told DHS to ignore the renegade Judge and continue the EO as is his right.

I don’t see any of these Judges up for re-election any time soon.

They are appointed for life.

We are at a cross roads. If Pres. Trump cannot reign in Federal judicial tyranny and their bureaucratic henchmen then who can/could ever? If Pres. Trump fails then where does that leave us all both left and right?

Beware the judicial-bureaucratic complex.

I would like to try peaceful secession first. But a civil war works also. I am good either way.

Bringing back the Constitution as it was written! The new member of the Supreme court will make that happen and Jeff Sessions will bring back Law and Order to the country which has been freewheeling with the law for decades.

“So Trump should have told DHS to ignore the renegade Judge”

Why? Totally unnecessary. The court order will certainly not stand, and no president today, except Obama, can afford to tell the government to ignore a court order. It would be impeachment article number one.

IF he ignored it and impeachment was brought up, it would never get out of the House, let alone the Senate. The PEOPLE would see to that. The Libs are looking for a fight anywhere they can find one...maybe we should give em what they want and finish them off once and for all. Give em the royal jazz-whooping they never got as a child.

FAKE LAWSUIT

Why does THIS lawsuit take priority when there are 50 other lawsuits concerning Trump’s EO??

The Ban is the default, the lawsuit must wait.

Why have RINOs not have 10 counter suits already prepared??

“no president today, except Obama, can afford to tell the government to ignore a court order. It would be impeachment article number one.”

This is true but at some point the activist Judiciary is going to have to be challenged. How many times have millions of votes been thrown out the window by rat Judge?
