Gorsuch just as the new president’s aggressive and contested use of executive power came into view, Democrats intend to aggressively question whether Judge Gorsuch will hold in check the man who seeks to elevate him to the nation’s most influential court.
Democrats believe a unique sequence of events — issuing a constitutionally questionable executive order on Friday, firing an acting attorney general who refused to defend it on Monday and nominating a Supreme Court justice on Tuesday — places executive overreach and separation of powers squarely at the center of the confirmation debate.

I believe this to be very true.
The leftists goal is to destroy Trump using any means possible.
Gorsuch has been nominated by Trump. Gorsuch has to go in front of the leftists before getting a vote. So if the leftists can destroy Gorsuch, then they believe they are destroying Trump. Even if they maim or wound Gorsuch in any way, then they believe this is a maim or wound on Trump.
If the "nuclear option" is implemented by changing Senate rules, can McConnell change the rules back if we lose the senate in the election in 2 years?
If the rhinos don’t stab us in the back ala Mer’COW’sky and Collins we should be alright!!
